Biography: (300 words minimum.)

Delphine was born with shining golden hair.

Her mother, Aisha, nearly fainted at the sight of her newborn daughter, a perfectly healthy girl with glittering curls framing her face. Within an hour the curls had changed to leafy green, then icy white, and lastly (most disturbingly) flames of red. The healers who delivered Delphine correctly identified the young girl as a Metamorphagus, and Aisha and her fiancé Tomas were smitten with their baby girl.
Delphine grew up an only child in the middle of Wizarding London. Her parents taught her the ethic of hard work, as halfblood status and low connections only got Aisha and Tomas so far in the world. Still, they were a happy trio, and Delphine got older knowing she was loved.

This treatment happened to make Delphine more ambitious than either of her parents had ever been in their own lives. A Ravenclaw and a Gryffindor made a Slytherin, and while both were shocked, they knew the warmth of their young girl's heart would keep her away from the mean streak the Slytherin house was known for breeding.
A successful Hogwarts career became the outcome for Delphine. Her spunk, individuality, and drive to be the best she could gave her the opportunity to excel in ways she had dreamed of.

After receiving a glowing remark from her Magical Defense professor as well as her House Head, Delphine paved the way for her future as an Auror. It was the only job that made sense to Delphine's skill set. Her abilities adding to her obvious talents, she did what she could to wow her superiors when participating in Auror training.

The start of the war brought sorrow into Delphine's life. Aisha was killed during an air raid in 1940. Only two years later, Tomas was shot and killed during active duty for the MOD. Her sorrow over the loss of her parents has driven Delphine to work dangerous and difficult missions at the Ministry. She has become more of a Special Operations Auror, often travelling overseas to use her gift in the art of spying.

For Delphine, failure has never been an option.

Option One -
Amelia Nixon was many things, but she was never a pushover reporter that people could just usher away with a busy shuffle past. She was dedicated and eager to cut to the very middle of the current political tensions because she was Amelia Nixon and her articles would most certainly become front page material.

“Sir, please! It’s for the Prophet, how do you feel-“

Another one brushed passed her, the shuffling busy masses making their way through Diagon Alley for the lunchtime rush. This had been the best possible time to get people, but none of them were giving her anything to go with.

Only momentarily discouraged, the short red headed lady took a seat on a nearby bench. Her quill resting in her left hand and her notepad ready in the opposite hand. Amelia pouted, tapping the quill against her leg as she scanned the waves of people for somebody - anybody - who looked like they had something to say.

She had been dreaming of her name in bold print, Amelia Nixon: The Source of Today’s Tomorrow. She had been dreaming of the larger office and the secretaries that would fetch her the morning coffee and fetch her anything she needed. The VIP interviews and the most exclusive press passes. But all Amelia had was a page seventeen piece on the rising number of frogs in London.

Hardened by a day of no success, the reporter stood up and started to trod off down the alley. A loose stone on the cobble path caught her heel, sending the distraught girl toppling down to the ground.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!” she yelled as she tried desperately to recover her shoe frantically in the middle of the Diagon Alley moving crowds.

Roleplay Response:

While she still felt like herself underneath the layers of dirt, skin, and cloth, Delphine truly enjoyed the sensation of being another person. A middle-aged clerk who normally gawked at her when she went into his shop to purchase stockings brushed past her with a disgusted sneer as he returned from his lunch break. She smirked. The unshaven tangle of a beard growing around her chin caught on the bundles and bundles of woolen scarves.

She could not say she much enjoyed facial hair. It always ended up more prickly than she intended.

"Help!"

The cry made her ears tingle. Underneath the layers of wool and corduroy and cotton, Delphine straightened up. This was an old man's body. Aches and cracks and ticks set off around her joints appropriately, but Delphine's spirit hardly noticed. Her eyes, an icy blue, searched the crowd of rushing shoulders for the source of the yell.

They fell on a young woman who was attempting to recover what looked like a lost shoe.

Delphine felt herself grumble, a deep and resonating feeling in this form, but knew the feeling of losing something precious – especially during a war. Things were in high demand even in the wizarding world. A good pair of shoes could mean the difference between life and death. She pushed herself away from the brick wall, scanning the crowds for any sign of the man she was meant to be tailing. He'd not yet emerged from The Emrys after being in there for nearly twenty minutes.

This would be quick.

"Let me help ya luv," Delphine barked in a gruff, masculine voice. She towered over the helpless girl in this form. The male shadow made a dark dent in the cobblestones."'ave ya hurt yerself?"
