Biography: (300 words minimum.)
From the time she was one herself, Victoria adored children. She was the sort that planned her family in detail, down the to middle names of her future little ones, played house whenever she had the opportunity, and offered to babysit every chance she had.

What she didn’t expect was that instead of having children of her own, she would be responsible for healing them. Funny how things work out.

Victoria’s upbringing was about as normal as things got. Her father worked with the Ministry, while her mother stayed home and raised her and her three older siblings. They had a large backyard to run around and fly in, cousins who visited frequently to play, and lots of love to go around. Despite some rough times during the war, things were as good as they could get.

It was when she got to Hogwarts that she discovered her love for healing, spending most of her days in the hospital wing, helping out wherever she could. Nights, on the other hand, were spent in the Hufflepuff common room, chatting until the late hours with her friends. She dated a few boys throughout her school years and though they were a lot of fun, she never really got the racing heart or butterflies or the obsession that her friends described when they got new boyfriends.

She just assumed that she never met the right person. Though that right person never really came along, no matter how many guys she dated. It was disappointing, of course, because it really made that whole family she had planned a lot more difficult to achieve.

It was when she threw herself into her work that she figured she found her true calling. That family she wanted had never worked out because she was always supposed to work with sick children. And she did her job well, not only in healing them but in connecting with them and being able to cheer them up. It was rewarding to see them smile when she entered the room.

She wasn’t quite sure it was worth it. It wasn’t a thought she liked to have, but it was one that crept into her head late at night as she curled up in bed alone with her cat. She really did love her job. But sometimes she wished that she had the family she had dreamed of too.

Option Two -
The snow had been falling steadily all morning and it didn't look like it was going to stop any time soon. Joshua Campbell scrunched his face up in a frown as he lifted his gaze to look to the sky. Snow. It really was quite a bother.

And it certainly didn't make it better that Diagon Alley seemed to be getting more and more crowded. Joshua sighed and pointed his wand at the large box that was currently placed on the doorstep of his shop. He had to get going. He had an order to deliver.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" The elderly man muttered and watched the box hover in the air for a moment. Honestly, did St. Mungo's really need that much tinsel? And with glitter of all things? He sighed again. If it hadn't been for the rather convincing stamp on the order, he would have been likely to believe it had been a prank by one of those orphaned rascals living up there.

Oh well, there was no point in waiting. Joshua deftly stirred the box down the doorstep and out onto the street, carefully levitating it above the heads of the crowd.

"Coming through! Coming through!" His voice sounded over the chatter of the crowd. "Keep out! Move ahead! Go on!" This was going way too slow. People were in the way and walking like they had all day! He huffed. Luckily the road was down hill.

"Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!" Joshua let out a loud shout as his feet suddenly slipped in the snow and sent him, the box, and several long strands of tinsel tumbling into the person who had been walking in front of him.

"For Merlin's sake!" Joshua muttered angrily as he hurried to his feet again, red and gold tinsel now decorating his black coat. "I am so sorry! This blasted snow!" He looked apologetic at the person he had crashed into.

Roleplay Response:
Victoria didn’t mind snow, but she definitely preferred seeing it from a window or in a photograph rather than in real life. It probably wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t so cold and slippery and wet. But it was and it was making it rather difficult for her to get around. It didn't help that she had really worn the wrong shoes today. They’d looked cute though, and they matched her outfit, and it hadn’t been snowing nearly as much at home as it was in London.

She wouldn’t have even bothered running errands that day, but it would be the only chance that she would have that week to do it with her work schedule. So she was sucking it up and making the best of it. She only had a few things to get anyway. It wouldn’t take her long to get back home and out of the cold.

She headed up the road towards the bookstore, trying to remember the name of the book she had ordered. Or would they be able to look it up just by her name? She really hoped…

All thoughts of her book were pushed from her mind as she was showered with a box, a person, and something very glittery. She went tumbling to the ground, snow immediately melting into her skirt and freezing her skin. She shivered but started laughing despite the cold and wet as she pulled some the tinsel from her shoulder. How bizarre.

“It’s fine,” she said, still grinning. She wound the tinsel from her clothes up and held it out for him to take. “I don’t think I’ve ever had such a fabulous crash. Are you okay?”

She glanced him over quickly, but couldn’t discern much, what with the snow and clothes and tinsel. He’d spoken to her, apologizing and not asking for help and was on his feet, so that was likely a good sign. Probably wouldn’t need a trip to St. Mungo’s.

“Sorry, but can I ask why you have enough tinsel to decorate all of England on you?” she asked, curiously. Because really, who needed that much tinsel?
