Shop name: The Leclair Boutique
Shop Type: A Boutique Selling Fancy Clothing
Location: Hogsmeade
Subforum? No

Short Description
Come to The Leclair Boutique, owned by Miss Felicity Leclair and be delighted by splendid clothing items, handmade by talented seamstresses along with a little help of magic. There is plenty of room in this elegant boutique to shop, chat, relax, and more.

Long Description
Felicity started thinking of ideas and planning The Leclair Boutique when she graduated from her school, and decided to move to Hogsmede to start the shop up and buy a space when she was just 17. She bought space for a shop, and the rent was expensive, but thanks to all of her parents' riches, she could afford it. She hired seamstresses to hand sew all of the clothes which she designed herself, and decorated the shop quite elegantly. There was room to walk between the racks of clothes, a chandelier made out of diamonds, a sitting area with couches made out of a very rare material, and other extremely pricey features decorated her store. On the outside, you could see beautiful dresses on display and an enchanted sign. If she spent any more money on the decor, her parents wouldn't have been happy and maybe even wouldn't given her more money, but she luckily stopped. She decided to name the boutique after her family's surname, which made her family happier, and they didn't care as much about the excessive spending since their name would get some fame.

When she first opened the store, business was a bit slow, but soon it sped up quite a bit. Mainly it was wealthy people that came to buy the stunning clothing, but normal people came to browse and just admire the shop from time to time. Felicity even designed a few wedding gowns and formal mens' wear, so the average witch or wizard would be willing to invest their galleons in the perfect outfit for their special day. She would even custom design or have an outfit customly made just for one person if they pay enough. Even though it was only a small group of people buying her clothing, she still sold at least a couple items a day, usually more, and the items cost a lot, so she could make a good profit. Felicity enjoys running the store, though she has other regular people at the register, making the clothes, and all of the other boring jobs. Her job is just to design the clothes, which can be hard at times, but she enjoys it.

What purpose will this shop serve other than selling things and being the home of your character? Why would people want to RP there just for fun?
It is a nice little shop, actually very fancy, and there are many items that people come to browse around and look at (especially if Felicity just came out with some new designs), and wealthy people can come and buy items. The average witch or wizard could also come to buy their wedding outfits, or someone at Hogwarts could come on a Hogsmede weekend to purchase an outfit for an upcoming ball.People may also sit and chat the small sitting area she put in her store. Felicity is also very social and would enjoy talking with other characters. There are plenty of possibilities, and I only named a few of them

Biography:
Felicity was born into a very wealthy Pureblood family in Diekirch, Luxembourg. Her family had attended Eisenstab Hexengymnasium for many generations, so she did the same. As a child, she was expected to behave perfectly, have excellent manners, and act like a high class Pureblood. Since she was the only child, she had the weight of representing the Leclair family's high standards. Her family's surname came from her great, great, great, great, great grandfather on her father's side who lived in France, but he moved to Luxembourg after he graduated from school. His children went to Eisenstab Hexengymnasium, and their children did, and so on, and so on. They just never lost the name "Leclair". On her mother's side, the surname of Bayer was in her blood for many generations, and they all attended Eisenstab Hexengymnasium. Felicity's parents were in the same year at the school, and they slowly fell in love. Both of their parents approved of the marriage; they were both ancient pureblood families, high class, and well mannered. They had a grand wedding, and many elite witches and wizards attended it.

Two years after their wedding, Felicity was born. At first, they were a bit disappointed that she wasn't a boy, but when she aged, they realized that she was everything they could ask for and more. In their eyes, she was proper, intelligent, clever, beautiful, and the perfect young lady. Many other people thought about her differently, though. Many thought that she was just a rich, snobby Pureblood girl that used her looks to manipulate and was too clever and wealthy for her own good. Many hated her, but Felicity thought it was just because of jealously. Who wouldn't want to be in her family? Sure, they put her under extreme pressure to be the very best at times, but that helped her to achieve more and be more determined in later life. They still loved her, even if she did mess up at times. At Eisenstab Hexengymnasium, she achieved quite a lot. She made very high grades, made some actual good friends, and relatively enjoyed all of her classes. After Felicity graduated, she decided to move to Hogsmeade to start a nice botique there. She had the money, and could get much better business there than in Luxembourg or Germany. Her parents were sad, but sure she would make a good profit there, so they let her go. Besides, Felicity was an adult in the wizarding world, and could handle things on her own.

Roleplay Response:
Felicity turned around to see a woman, who looked to be dressed as a reporter, on the ground (she looked like she fell), shouting about her heels, and yelling for help in the middle of the bustling streets of Diagon Alley. What was wrong with the people these days? Did they think that yelling would really make everything better? All it did was make them seem immature and attention seeking. She looked at the ground beside her and saw one of her shoes on the ground. Should she get it? Someone else easily could, and she was too proper to bend down and pick something up off the ground. It was no use in debating with herself, though if she was at home she would most definitely have someone - a maid, a house elf, a servant, really anyone - that could do the dirty work on touching the ground and risking to hurt and embarrass themselves so Felicity would stay clean.

She quickly picked up the heel off of the street beside her, hoping no one was watching her. It honestly wasn't that bad, though she definitely wouldn't want to do that anytime again. At least retrieving her shoe would muffle the woman's quite annoying shouting. If the reporter (or want-to-be reporter) lived in Luxembourg and went to Eisenstab Hexengymnasium like Felicity, she would have been accustomed to proper manners and know that running around and screaming would earn you a detention. She finally walked up to the woman and handed her the shoe.

"Here is your shoe that you have been screaming about," Felicity told her in a bored tone.
