Biography:
One day, everything in Aurora-Jane's life changed. She was little, probably only a year or two old. She could vaguely remember playing with her father, Muggle David Lillie, before he vanished. Or, rather, Aurora-Jane and her family vanished. They, and all magical folks in the world, had been, somehow, transported back in time.

Aurora-Jane can now hardly remember her father. The little information that she got from her mother, Matilda Lillie-Hart, was that he was a good, kind and just man, and that he was the only Muggle Matilda knew that was able to look past the fact that she was a witch and see who she really was.

Being separated from her husband had, over the years, ruined Matilda. She became a shell, leaving Aurora-Jane to look after herself and the home. Matilda drifted from husband to husband, desperately trying to find someone who she could feel love for as greatly as she had for David. Alas, she never found it. She ended up pregnant, with the son of another pureblood. The son, when he was born, was named Davey, in memory of the love of Matilda's life.

After divorcing Davey's father, Matilda sinked lower and lower into depression. At nine years old, Aurora-Jane was the sole carer for both her mother and her baby brother. The stress put a strain on Aurora-Jane, and quickly, her trust in people vanished, leaving a wound that is yet to be healed.

When she received her letter from Hogwarts, Aurora felt a mix of emotions. She was pleased, of course- this was the confirmation she had been waiting for. An acceptance into the wizarding world. She was also confused. She asked herself many times over the next months how they knew she was there, when she wasn't even going to be born for another two decades, at least. But she was also worried. Her mother hadn't even reacted when Aurora-Jane showed her the letter. Aurora-Jane was seriously worried that something was going to happen to Matilda and Davey when she was away.

Personality:
She has high walls that are hard to break down. She has, over her life, developed a lack of trust in people and it will take a lot to resolve that. Although she may come across as cruel or cold, it's simply because she puts on a mask of emotional indifference. Once you become her friend, you'll realise that she is an intelligent and kind, and will always help a friend in need.

Appearance:
She has long ginger hair running down to her waist and freckles covering her face. She is quite pale, and has a small scar on her wrist, obtained when she was playing with her mother's wand when she was little.

Being adressed by the random stranger had slightly scared Aurora-Jane. She had been exploring the castle, and had suddenly had the idea to go and explore the dungeons. Of course, it was terrifying, what with the rumours being told about someone dying down here, but if she was going to last at Hogwarts, she'd have to face her fears sometime.

She shivered. The stranger would probably be waiting for a reply by now, or perhaps they would have left.

"Hello?" Aurora-Jane said, her voice trembling. "It's Aurora. Aurora-Jane Lillie. W-Who's there?"
