The halfblood status didn’t mean much to her as child, growing up. It simply made her engage with her surroundings more than a purist would have. Perhaps with her blood status, her life was more relaxed than other children’s. This way, she could do as she pleased without too much reprimand from her parents. For example, she enjoyed going to the parks and playing with the muggle children, knowing full and well to keep her magical abilities hidden from the world around her.Her mother was well-known author in the wizarding community, having been a herbologist gone romance novel writer. Though she had few books published about the earlier, the latter was where she found her calling. She wrote for both communities, muggle and magic alike, finding success in both. Of course, there were some in the magical society that called her a traitor, but those were few and far between. It was easily forgotten once their noses were stuck in one of her books. She was rarely home, never giving her daughter the attention she craved.Her father on the other hand was kind and gentle man towards her, never too harsh on his princess. He, much like his wife, dabbled in both communities, despite his muggle blood. He was a well-known lawyer, mostly specializing in family affairs. But here and there, he meddled in those far darker, though his daughter wasn’t especially sure as to what they were. But she desperately wanted to find out.Because she was born in France, naturally, Pierre wanted her to attend Beauxbatons for her educational career. And she did, for her first year. Wide eyed doe, she was, as she made friends during her first year. The school was beautiful, much different than she had envisioned for herself, but it made due to get through learning. But then mum fell ill, and her family was moved to London, where she began her second year at Hogwarts. She fell into line instantly, loving every part of the school. It felt more like home than her previous school, and she felt happy at last.During winter break, her mum was feeling much better, and so the family moved to Spain, buying a new house to appease her mother, but Lita’s father kept their home in France, and her in Hogwarts.Currently, Lita is falling in love with her life back at Hogwarts. The cold found a way into the darkness of her dorm, waking her from a heavy sleep. As she rubbed her eyes, the girl found herself wide awake, having fell asleep still in uniform, atop of her schoolbooks and parchment and quills, bringing a small chuckle to break the silence of the empty dorm.What time was it?There wasn't a clock on sight, but she decided to get up and stretch her legs a bit. The stiffness was hard to shake, pressing her full weight onto the right one, the familiar pain of pins and needles finding its way to a soft gasp from the girl. Once out of the tower, it didn't take long for the feeling to dissipate, and she quickly found her way down towards the dungeons. Wrapping her arms tighter around her body, the cold was more prominent. It was eerily creepy, not something she had noticed before.
