Biography:
Aliyah Auriga is the lasts of the Auriga family. She is only daughter and the last descendent of the wealthy, forward thinking family of Arabic investors. Brought up with all the possible luxury and respect, she grew up to be a very broad-minded, well-versed lady, who decided to settle in Britain as freelance writer. Dominic Colton was a Half-blood, born to a muggle-born father and a mother who was a halfblood. In those times, life became very tough for Dominic. He immersed himself in muggle science under the influence of his paternal grandparents and magical theories thanks to his education.
Dominic Colton fell in love with Aliyah Auriga and despite the reservation the Auriga family members had, they miraculously agreed. They settled down away from prying eyes, in a farmhouse that had once belonged to one of the Aurigas. Aliyah mostly stayed at home to work, while Dominic pursued his various interests outside, including working part-time at the Ministry.
Zaurack, is Aliyah and Dominic’s first child. Just after their rosy marriage and just before Dominic found his obsession with the idea of using magic to disprove the theories that muggle scientists were trying to prove. Plus use muggle science to explain the seemingly random occurrence of magic in children born our of muggle parents. His sister Zaniah was born after the obsession and before the unpleasantness of the dying marriage, as a hopeful method (in vain) to drag Dominic out of his seeming stupidity.
Zaurack was eight and Zaniah was five when Aliyah finally decided it was time to walk out of the relationship, it was a bold decision, but she cooked up a lie that her real husband was an Arab pureblood who died of an incurable ailment, while maintaining friendly need-based relations with Dominic. She left the farmhouse for him and went and settled in an apartment, despite her family (who had assumed the marriage was going to end this way from the very beginning.) begging her to return. Having kept her maiden name, considering she was the last of the Aurigas, she decided to pass it on to her children and she promised both of them a great education.

Personality: Zaurack takes after his maternal family. He has a mind that is geared towards business and has a clinical precision with reading opportunities. He is great with people, but is very reserved and doesn’t get attached easily, though he pretends otherwise in order to gain their trust. He has been the perfect son and the perfect brother, by the book. Zaurack (or Z), has always been understanding, calm and patient, but not out of deep care or love, but because it was always easier to get what he wanted that way.
His seemingly still waters; never signify the lack of inner turmoil. He will almost always have a secret agenda. He is an explorer that’s why, when he was asked where he would like to go for his education, he picked Salem because it meant that he would be sent to another country. As a child, it wasn’t as if he was never mischievous, he just made sure he NEVER got caught and he plans on continuing a similar trend in Salem.

Its not exactly the way he looks, but the way he IS. He has found that according to circumstance he can alter his reactions and expressions very well. He can manage to come across as very light-hearted, warm, friendly and loving or go the other extreme and come across and cold and even intimidating. As a very young child, he has practiced transiting between his various expressions and emotions and channeling them to his benefit.

If he wanted, he could have said something which would have snaked its way under this Simon guy’s skin, or he could have flashed his award winning smile and ease the tense silence that sat between the two boys like a third person… But Simon didn’t seem worth that trouble. What Zaurack did, was yawn pointedly.
They really had to do this together and Zaurack was willing to offer doing some research on the policies involved or something… But, this boy… This boy reeked of self-importance. Zaurack stopped himself from rolling his eyes. ‘No, I’ll just sit here and let him be in charge…’ Z thought and he had a nice feeling about doing that.
He let the silent sit and get comfortable as he picked up a book and opened a random page, in a few seconds he snapped it shut and threw it back into the pile of books that were lying strewn in front of them. He averted his gaze from the ruins that looked practically battle worn and sighed loudly.
The American-Civil-muggle war, did not interest Zaurack. He’d much rather be outdoors right now, especially because it was getting warmer indoors. Z shrugged off his blazer. He wanted to be outside, taking a stroll around the campus and exercising his freedom away from the omnipresent pressing matters of his home. He stretched, folded his arms behind his head and using his hands as cushions, he leaned against the shelf and closed his eyes.
Simon mimicked his gesture and slammed the book he was reading, shut. Reflexively, Z sat bolt upright and stared at the boy. ‘What in the wo-’ Zaurack’s thought was cut short by the other boy’s words. "How about I write the essay and stuff? You can just put your name on it. Sound good?" That sounded very good, in fact it sounded like music to Z’s ears.
Z resisted the urge to pat himself on the back, he had managed to wriggle out of the situation, by doing nothing. He didn’t smile. He looked at the boy straight in the eyes and said “You know what, that sounds like an excellent plan.” With that, Z got up and started walking out…
Zaurack turned around to face the boy again. “I’ll see you around… thanks buddy!” he said and winked at the other boy. If he wanted to make sure he wasn’t ratted out, he’d have to… maintain a healthy relationship, at least till the report was submitted and graded.
