Transfer Application

→ CHARACTER INFORMATION.
Name: Stella Van Droombeeld

Birthday: June 3rd

Hometown: Westchester, NY

Bloodline:
 Pureblood

Current Levels:C5D9T4S4

Current Year:6th

Year Requested:6th

Reason for Transfer:
Her entire life, Stella had been somewhat of the pariah on the Van Droombeeld's Estate. She had always been different. To her though, even though every one had always looked down on her, it was just who she was, and she loved her self for her differences. No matter what her family said in contradiction.

Stella took a chance leaving the estate to go to school in Boston, and she loved it there. She made many friends there, but the school it self, in all its educational glory was lacking for her. The school was unable to support the things that made her different. She needed help, and education on her gifts. Something Salem Institute was not equipped to be able to do.

Biography:
Her fingers slowly skimmed the surface of the water. Her large blue eyes gazed past her pale reflection in the rippling water below . To any one besides her family, she was just self absorbed and maybe a tad slow in the head. That is how most of her family viewed her any way, except the select few. They could tell: why she was so secluded, why she seemed to drift away in mid-sentence. She had a gift, that many thought was foolish or wasn’t even real.

Stella had been laying in one of the bewitched boats that the family had in one of the man made ponds, in one of the families many gardens. Her tutor had finished early, so she had the rest of the afternoon to her self. What she saw as she faced the water, and her fingers trickling the water: Her parents, having a new baby.

Stella had always been number one with them, cherished, yet an embarrassment. She knew it was silly to be selfish like this; she had just turned 15, but something about the idea of having a younger sibling. She just did not like it. She enjoyed having lots of cousins around, but she wanted nothing to do with a sibling. She was allowed to have her immature moments; this would be one of them.

That day she started researching schools. Her cousin Amalryc went to Salem, in Boston. On her brothers’ birth day, she would make it official. He was born on new years, one minute in the new year. Stella explained to Wilks, Amalryc's father and head of the Van Droombeeld family, she wanted to go to school. He was more then happy to call in a few favors and get her in at the beginning of the new semester.

At Salem Stella learned many things, most though, she learned she could in fact have many many friends and still be different from them. They did not care she was different, and she did not care they were not pureblood. She made many friends who were muggleborn, or halfblood, and they all made wonderful friends. In contrast what her family believed, regrettably.

School had been a lot more demanding then Stella had been used to. She was used to being able to take her time with projects, making sure ever tiny little thing, was perfect. In school they expect every thing to be the same amount of perfect, with half the amount of time. Not many things bothered her, or flustered her, our caused her to think about any thing besides rainbows and unicorns. School was one of those things though.

She had been partnered up with Simon. She had noticed him in the class on her first day. He was nice. But this week they had to work together.

"How about I write the essay and stuff? You can just put your name on it. Sound good?"

Stella looked up at him and blinked. She knew that if she did that, they would only get an ‘A’ grade. So she knew she would have to make sure she put in an amount of effort.

She responded a few moments later in her very soft very dreamy voice, after just looking at him, which he most likely found very awkward. “Actually Simon, last week I made a bunch of notes after I found out this subject was coming up. “

She showed him the few pages of notes in her parchment pad.
“Its all really simple I think.”

She pointed here, and there. Showing him the main categories, and how it would be a lot easier if they split the work.

“If I take these parts… then you take those. Then we will be done in half the time…The only thing we will need to worry about is fluidity of the subjects we talk about. Are you good with that?”
