Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Another Marquis relation. Thrilling.
Gideon Marquis was often the rebel of his family. With brothers like Grant and Garrett, he had to stick out and be his own person. That stage never truly left, not until he met his wife Sofia. She was the love of his life, and it truly shone through in how he treated her; like the queen that she was. And out of that affection did come three bundles of joy. Much to dismay, not a single one was a boy, but still, he was content.
Odette was the middle child, the favorite of the three daughters. The eldest daughter was a Slytherin, now working at the Ministry as a Cursebreaker. Ophelia was twenty-seven, nearly conceived with the castle walls, quite the scandal in their day. It almost cost them their inheritance, but a speedy marriage soothed all of those worries, at least in the pureblood families’ eyes. (Quite frankly, Odette was surprised her parents lasted as long as they had with as much as they bicker with one another.)
The shining star that was Odette, loud and infectious, kind and friendly. Excelled in her studies, dabbled in the school’s paper and a few years of playing Chaser. More importantly, she was an excellent friend, probably the best a person could have. She always kept secrets, defended her friends, and proved any point she made with valid arguments. A good girl, as her parents tended to tell her often.
The youngest was always the most wild, or so Opal had proved. Currently in her fifth year, the girl was loud, brash, and impulsive. She was always found at any sort of gathering, where ever there would at least a handful of people. Very much the show off, she did exactly that, stauntering off like the most popular girl in Hogwarts.
After Odette graduated, she decided to take a year off to find herself, in hopes of honing her magic and find her purpose in life. One year turned into two, and it felt useless. After getting a job, the girl decided to go to school part time in hopes of a slow but steady path would win the race and make her parents happy.
Roleplay:

Option One -
Amelia Nixon was many things, but she was never a pushover reporter that people could just usher away with a busy shuffle past. She was dedicated and eager to cut to the very middle of the current political tensions because she was Amelia Nixon and her articles would most certainly become front page material.
“Sir, please! It’s for the Prophet, how do you feel-“
Another one brushed passed her, the shuffling busy masses making their way through Diagon Alley for the lunchtime rush. This had been the best possible time to get people, but none of them were giving her anything to go with.
Only momentarily discouraged, the short red headed lady took a seat on a nearby bench. Her quill resting in her left hand and her notepad ready in the opposite hand. Amelia pouted, tapping the quill against her leg as she scanned the waves of people for somebody - anybody - who looked like they had something to say.
She had been dreaming of her name in bold print, Amelia Nixon: The Source of Today’s Tomorrow. She had been dreaming of the larger office and the secretaries that would fetch her the morning coffee and fetch her anything she needed. The VIP interviews and the most exclusive press passes. But all Amelia had was a page seventeen piece on the rising number of frogs in London.
Hardened by a day of no success, the reporter stood up and started to trod off down the alley. A loose stone on the cobble path caught her heel, sending the distraught girl toppling down to the ground.
“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!” she yelled as she tried desperately to recover her shoe frantically in the middle of the Diagon Alley moving crowds.
Roleplay Response:
The cold was harsh, almost too harsh. Wrapping her navy petticoat tighter, Didi's long dark hair was tucked under a white cap. Her gloved hands were stuck in her coat's deep pockets, balled into fists to try to stay warm. She walked faster, her destination Honeydukes, a craving for sweets stronger than the wind.
The girl kept her head down slightly, attempting to keep that same wind from hitting her face too hard. It wasn't until she was drawing closer to the shop did she hear a shrill voice of a woman, a frantic woman at that. She stopped, apologizing for running into the backside of another women. With a polite smile, the girl sidestepped and began to walk in the left direction.
In, in the middle of the street, was a woman....just sitting there. Simply sitting in the street, waiting for someone to save her. Didi scoffed, annoyed that the woman interrupted her journey. "Just get up, you imbecile," she muttered with an exasperated sigh. "You look ridiculous," she added, now standing in front of the woman.
Just ridiculous.
