Hello Zaniah, Your application is looking great! Before we can accept you, there's just one minor thing in your roleplay response I will need to ask you to address. You write that Janey fell off her broom, where in fact she landed quite safely. Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf. As you can see, reading other people's posts carefully when roleplaying is quite important in order to avoid confusion. If you can just clear up that slight misunderstanding and repost your application below, we'll be happy to have another look at it. - Eirwen

Hello Melanie,
Your application is looking great, there's just a few things that I'll need you to address before we can accept it.
Firstly, the Time Warp happened on New Years Eve at midnight, so it is a little unlikely that Melanie's mother would have been out shopping. Maybe she had stepped into the garden to watch the fireworks? Or gone to say happy New Year to the neighbours?
Secondly, you might also want to keep in mind that the Time Warp happened two and a half years ago, in 1937, meaning Melanie would have been 8 soon 9. If you intended for her to be older than her brothers you might wish to adjust their ages a tiny bit.
Please address these things and repost your application below, and then we'll be happy to have another look at it!

Hello Eva, Your application is looking lovely! Before we can accept you, though, there's just a few things we need you to look over. Firstly, I am afraid it is not possible to intern with the Wizengamot for the time being and neither do they have an Administrative office, as the Wizengamot is exclusively for the heads of each pureblood family, so if you could please change that, it would be great. Secondly, with Eva being born in 1922 or 1923 (that would make her either a 7th or a 6th year in the coming term) she would have turned 11 in 1933/34. As the first world war finished in 1918, unfortunately her father could not have joined the war at that point in time. You might also wish to keep in mind the Time Warp that happened two and a half years ago and slid everyone from 1974 and back to 1937 - therefore, the war Eva's father participated in could very well have been the Vietnam war! Lastly, this site has been around for a very long time, and therefore there would be people who have actually roleplayed being the quidditch captains when both Eva's father and brother attended Hogwarts, so if you could please remove any reference of them being the captains, that would be great, thanks! Hello Alysa,
Your application is looking good! Before we can accept you, however, there's just a few things that need to be addressed.
Firstly, here at HS.net, we encourage realism within writing - this helps to maintain the tone of the site. Please remember that it's unlikely, even in the 1930's, for a small girl to have been wandering alone around London for several days and not be noticed.
You might also want to keep in mind that the Time Warp happened on New Years Eve, so in England it would most likely be fairly cold, maybe even snowing, which would make it unlikely that an eight year old would be able to walk a great distance, or live outside on the streets at night.
Secondly, as for the appearance for Alysa - we've noticed this elsewhere on the web. We don't accept plagarism, and we like our apps to be unique, so if you could please edit that, it would be great!
Lastly, your roleplay response is looking great, there's just one small thing in the end I will need you to address. If this was a thread at any of the boards, having Alysa walk away would end the thread. You never know what James might do, maybe he will try to stop her even! Therefore, if you could please change that so maybe Alysa began to walk away, that would be great!

Hello Owen,
As a graduate from Hogwarts this term, you don't need to apply to go on to Elsewhere, you can go on roleplaying there straight away! Just remember to post in the Elsewhere Activity check, which will be up over the summer break.
For future reference, please also be aware that the only ways to enter Camp Loki is by Floo from either Hogwarts, Beauxbatons or Salem. Travelling there by portkey is unfortunately not possible for the time being.

Hello Jim, Our schools are currently closed for accepting applications, but they will reopen again on August 1st. You are welcome to repost your application then, or post an application to the Elsewhere board, should you wish to start role-playing straight away! When you resubmit your application, please keep the Site Rating in mind, especially in regards to the rules on violence and abuse on minors. Moderate violence is allowed but should not dwell on detail. There should be no emphasis on injuries or blood, but occasional gory moments may be permitted if justified by the context.
Abuse of minors should not be directly described or mentioned. The site uses a version of the UK movie certificate 12 guidelines (this is roughly equivalent to PG-13 in the USA), and abuse of minors is not allowed at the site. I must therefore ask you to please edit the parts of your bio that involves that, thank you. I am also a little curious about the family curse you are mentioning. If you could please explain that a bit further, that would be great! I am looking forward to seeing you either on the Elsewhere board or here on August the 1st! - Eirwen Medraut
