Biography:

Lucian was (as far as anyone was concerned) a muggle. He'd never held a wand in his exceedingly boring life and he'd never heard of 'magic'. His life was like watching a clock turn.

Coincidently, Lucian was entirely colourblind. He often blamed his drab lifestyle for this, and desperately tried to make his life more interesting. But so far the only interesting thing that had ever happened to him was when he was trotting through a grey forest and a giant wolf attacked him, and even that wasn't very fun.

However, in order to make his life more bearably enjoyable, Lucian found himself constantly seeking thrills and highs. To do this, he enveloped himself in several street 'gangs' that largely consisted of troublemakers in order to spice up his life.

One night, whilst he and his fellow gangmates decided to 'investigate' a small village's post office, Lucian ended up being dragged into a robbery. He was told to keep watch whilst the four remaining gangmates took the money from the till. Between the five of them they managed to accumulate a total of eighteen pounds and eleven pence in muggle-money, and eighteen years of jail-time in the county prison.

As if that wasn't 'interesting' enough for Lucian Redhood, he then discovered that magic was real, and that he was a wizard. But he still hadn't discovered the werewolf thing yet. That came later.

He discovered his aptitude for the arcane when he was exercising in his very boring cell. In truth, it wasn't him who discovered it at all, but a very posh-looking man in a very odd-looking cloak. Somehow some sort of Ministry had traced his magical energies or something like that and had only done so recently due to the fact that previously his magic was dormant. Or something.

Lucian was then removed from prison and sent to Salem Institute to study a catch-up course that consisted of several years-worth of magical eductation. He didn't do extremely well at that, and so some official-looking people in suits decided to send him to a much more successful magic school. Hogwarts.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Personality:
Perhaps a fifteen years worth of boredom have worn off on Lucian, as people seem to find him boring. He is shy, quiet and reclusive and despite serving most of a jail sentence, he isn't at all unpleasant. He doesn't look for trouble, but it always seems to find it's way into his back pocket.

Appearance:
Lucian has a very defined and chiselled jawbone. His skin is pale and his eyes are a very dark brown, and coincidently cannot see colour themselves. He is relatively tall and after exercising to pass the time in jail, he is relatively athletic.

SAMPLE ROLEPLAY

Option II:
Sample Roleplay Response:
Lucian fought his way through the crowds of noisy first-years as he made his way for his common room. He wouldn't have time to study that evening, so he had to make up for it now. Of course, he wasn't expecting one of the Spellbound editors to hold him up and ask him a bunch of questions.

He gave a quick nod to the girl as she proceeded with her 'interview'.

In truth, Lucian had never tried frog's legs. He knew that they apparently tasted like chicken however, but he disliked bird-meat. But the word 'gross' distracted him from his previous thoughts.

How he hated that word. It was immature, and a linguistic immigrant to the english language, no doubt exported illegally from America. Lucian hated America, although he had never had much time to do so. His one-year catch-up course in Salem kept him far too busy to have any time to investigate the apparent beauty of America.

Lucian sighed, and turned back to the girl, who had been awaiting an answer for quite some time now. In reply, he merely shook his head and nudged his way past her, before proceeding back down the corridor. Conversation was over-rated.
