Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Growing up in a large family does things to a middle child's brain. Seeking attention in any way, shape or form, Otto Fowl has been attempting to push the limits his entire life. Surpassing Marjorie, his twin sister, has always remained a major goal of his. Whether it be academically, physically or charismatically, he strives for the best.

His ambitions are fueled with desperation, a longing to be recognized above his many siblings.  Oftentimes, his drastic case of middle child syndrome led to him causing trouble around the house and in school. Pulling pranks, bullying geeks and rebellious stunts were common. He certainly received plenty of howlers in his years at Hogwarts.

Now that Otto Fowl has flown the coop (the Fowl household), his grasp for attention and power reaches higher. He casts a favorable eye at older women and is content pursuing multiple people at once.

Manipulation is a key personality trait. Otto will not interact with people unless there is a direct benefit to him, which can often be a huge weakness. His history with rebellion has led to his development of kleptomania. When he wants something, he takes it. Literally.

But underneath his testosterone-induced bravado, the 18 year-old is a sweetheart. All it takes is the right person to crack his shell and suddenly, an outpouring of affection. Yet in his eyes, attraction is true-love. With around 5 children, Walter and Kathleen Fowl didn't have the time to dote on each child individually. A child devoid of true affection led to a certain loneliness that threatens to reveal itself every so often.

Pushing people away has become a valuable skill. Snarky comments, rude gestures and glares are common for this gloom-bird. Despite his facade of hatred for all things living, Otto sure does like to party.

Get in his way and he won't hold back. He's try to start a fight but would probably back out.

Roleplay:

Option One -
Amelia Nixon was many things, but she was never a pushover reporter that people could just usher away with a busy shuffle past. She was dedicated and eager to cut to the very middle of the current political tensions because she was Amelia Nixon and her articles would most certainly become front page material.

“Sir, please! It’s for the Prophet, how do you feel-“

Another one brushed passed her, the shuffling busy masses making their way through Diagon Alley for the lunchtime rush. This had been the best possible time to get people, but none of them were giving her anything to go with.

Only momentarily discouraged, the short red headed lady took a seat on a nearby bench. Her quill resting in her left hand and her notepad ready in the opposite hand. Amelia pouted, tapping the quill against her leg as she scanned the waves of people for somebody - anybody - who looked like they had something to say.

She had been dreaming of her name in bold print, Amelia Nixon: The Source of Today’s Tomorrow. She had been dreaming of the larger office and the secretaries that would fetch her the morning coffee and fetch her anything she needed. The VIP interviews and the most exclusive press passes. But all Amelia had was a page seventeen piece on the rising number of frogs in London.

Hardened by a day of no success, the reporter stood up and started to trod off down the alley. A loose stone on the cobble path caught her heel, sending the distraught girl toppling down to the ground.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!” she yelled as she tried desperately to recover her shoe frantically in the middle of the Diagon Alley moving crowds.

Roleplay Response:
Shouldering his way through the crowd felt nice. Otto had never been particularly strong, but he wasn't a pansy, either. Why he bothered to walk the streets was beneath him; it was such a waste of time. Smash a nose or two, insult a few witches and that's all it took to avoid meaningless conversation.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!”

The cry was shrill, an annoying sound. “Blimey woman! Quit howling, it's just a bloody shoe!" he hollered in disgust.

The people crowding the streets were enough of a hassle, but this woman yapping made matters worse; it was the cherry on top of an ice cream day of misery.

But then he saw her, the woman who'd lost a shoe and buckled to the ground. The most stunning woman he had ever seen. Love bloomed in his heart as it had many times before.

Pushing his way towards her, Otto held out a hand to help her up.

"Are you alright, m'am?" he inquired, mesmerized by the shining head of red hair.
