Biography: Yngvild Aurora Höst came to this world a dark, September night in Norway. The girl was born only half a minute before her twin brother, Varg Aslak. Blonde hair, pale skin and blue eyes. It was a cold and hardy land greeting the children, but their loving parents – Ellanor Dorothea and Thorvald Christian Höst – created a warm and cozy home for the young ones to grow up in.
The children were always cared for, even when the Höst parents weren’t at home - and with both Ellanor and Thorvald being traveling medics, that was quite often. Both children were proud of what their loved ones accomplished around the continent, and did not feel any resentment towards them. Far from it. Instead the children grew up determined and inspired to make a difference themselves.
Yngvild was a bright child – always caring for her brother. With a great respect for anyone older than herself, she grew up to be rather shy, mostly keeping to herself if not accompanied by her twin. Still, her curiosity was stronger than any insecurity, and the girl would not pass out on any chance to try or learn something new.
At the age of 10 her parents told her about Hogwarts, and how they wanted for her to study there when she became of age. For the adjustment to be a bit easier they wanted her to go live with her aunt Eida in Hogsmeade a year prior. Yngvild was very excited about the news and had an eager smile on her lips as she left her home in the north.
Roleplay Response:Yngvild loved Godric Park. There was always a lot of life here. People playing, running, laughing.. She didn’t think it was possible to be sad here. And if it was, it would at least be very, very difficult. And who would try to be sad anyway?
Another thing she liked to do was collect stuff, and there were always stuff to collect in the park. Funny looking stones, beetles, flowers and leafs. And every now and then some odd trinkets even showed up! Like just the other day, when she’d found a shiny coin. There was no telling what magnificent treasures she would find today.
As the blonde girl was searching around, someone suddenly barked at her nearby.
“You!”Yngvild stared back. Big blue eyes wondering why on earth the girl would shout at her like that. …Perhaps she’d lost the coin she’d found the other day, and now thought Yngvild had stolen it?!
"...Do you want to play?"Phew.. A wave of relief rushed over the tiny pale body, and a pink smile came to Yngvild’s lips. “Okay,” she said in a friendly voice.
