Lisbetta Hawk

Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Matteo Medici was born to Mario and Alessandra Medici, and cousin to Lisabetta Hawk. He was an only child and the eldest of the boys of his family, making him the next heir to the Medici Throne. He was raised as such, and he, unlike his cousin Lisabetta, enjoyed the attention and status of being a Medici. He did not pay too much attention in school, doing enough to get by. He attended Durmstrang Institute of Magic just like every other male in his family before him. He was an excellent quidditch player, but lacked motivation for much else, except the occasional fling with a cute pureblood girl. His name stands for Gift from God, and he definitely used it up. He had always been headstrong and powerful, knowing where he stood in life and where he was going. Yes, he had flings in the past, but nothing concrete, he knew that once it was time for him to find a wife, she would have to be perfect. To marry into the Medici family was no easy matter, and to marry as the head of the family was even less so. He was asked by his family to go to London, following his annoyingly open minded cousin, in hopes that he may convince her to return home. Matteo was not very amused by the fact that he had to chance his cousin around Europe, but maybe London could be good for him. He had already wined and dined every eligible girl that Italy had to offer, and none had really caught his eye in any special way. Maybe there was an English girl that could someday be the future Mrs. Medici, but for the time being, he was happy to continue his life as it had been so far.

Option One -
Amelia Nixon was many things, but she was never a pushover reporter that people could just usher away with a busy shuffle past. She was dedicated and eager to cut to the very middle of the current political tensions because she was Amelia Nixon and her articles would most certainly become front page material.

“Sir, please! It’s for the Prophet, how do you feel-“

Another one brushed passed her, the shuffling busy masses making their way through Diagon Alley for the lunchtime rush. This had been the best possible time to get people, but none of them were giving her anything to go with.

Only momentarily discouraged, the short red headed lady took a seat on a nearby bench. Her quill resting in her left hand and her notepad ready in the opposite hand. Amelia pouted, tapping the quill against her leg as she scanned the waves of people for somebody - anybody - who looked like they had something to say.

She had been dreaming of her name in bold print, Amelia Nixon: The Source of Today’s Tomorrow. She had been dreaming of the larger office and the secretaries that would fetch her the morning coffee and fetch her anything she needed. The VIP interviews and the most exclusive press passes. But all Amelia had was a page seventeen piece on the rising number of frogs in London.

Hardened by a day of no success, the reporter stood up and started to trod off down the alley. A loose stone on the cobble path caught her heel, sending the distraught girl toppling down to the ground.

“Merlin’s fog watch, my heel is broken! Help!” she yelled as she tried desperately to recover her shoe frantically in the middle of the Diagon Alley moving crowds.

Roleplay Response:
Wizarding London was definitely a sight to behold for Matteo. He had spent most of his morning enjoying the sites of London, the beautiful landscape of the buildings, and the intriguing look of the women. Diagon alley was where his journeys had taken him and he quickly realized that it was a very busy day. People were swarming left and right, dunking in and out of shops, placing orders, or just simply running amok with no destination at all.

No matter how crowded it was, people still somehow moved out  the way as Matteo walked down the street. He allowed a slight smirk to play over his lips at this. People could feel power and authority pushing off of others, and Matteo was more than happy that they could feel it coming off him. His life was destined for nothing less than a very powerful position in life. The head of the Medici family was given not only the reigns to their every growing empire, but also the power over the family, and that was something else all together.

As Matteo was beginning to bore with the sights of Diagon Alley, he overheard a commotion.

"Help!"

Matteo turned in the direction of the sound, and he knew that it was a woman's voice. What kind of gentlemen would he be if he did not help a woman in need. His path opened up before him as he walked towards where the voice had come. He stopped when he found a woman on the ground, red hair bright against the seemingly dull colors of her surroundings. He held out a hand towards her, a slight mischievous glimmer in his eyes.

"Perhaps I could be of service Signora." His voice dripping with the impeccable Italian accent he was blessed with.
