Vincent is my first.

Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Despite the neglection of his parents, Vincent was a kind-hearted and humble person. He displayed kindness and concern when required, and respected those who were worthy of the word respect. Born under the Draug name, his childhood consisted of being cared for by the house elves and hired nannies. A rather normal childhood actually, as his siblings also experienced the same. On his 11th birthday, Vincent was sent to Hogwarts, and from there was sorted into the house of Hufflepuff.

Throughout his school life, he was an introverted yet snarky individual, traits that would last long after his school days. Vincent worked hard and became loyal as expected from his house, and developed some rather interesting friendships, the main one being with Nate, a tutor he met in his first year at Hogwarts.

When Nate graduated, the two kept in touch, and as Vincent got older the two became closer, and naturally by the time of Vincent’s graduation, Nate and Vincent were probably as close as friends could be, rather than tutor and student.

Soon after Vincent’s graduation, he was left unemployed, but had a knack for the Arts, only deciding to pursue that career after a rather heated argument with his father over the topic of joining the so-called family business. The argument ended in Vincent’s disownership, and inevitably named: Shame of the Family. Of course, after Vincent left and pursued his artistic career, it didn’t get very far. A while later and he had managed to find a home with none other than his close friend Nate, in Diagon Alley.

Some even speculate that Vincent and Nate are closer than friends, but the two smoothly deny anything of the sort.

Clearly, Vincent has had more than his fair share of trouble in life, but this doesn’t stop him from being probably one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. A person who’d much prefer the indoors with his fingers dipped in paint, rather than walking around across a ballroom floor and making a good impression to the pureblood masses.

Roleplay: (If you are requesting Exceptional levels - above 32 total - please respond to the roleplay and questions here instead)
Reply as your character to the following:

It was impossible for Dianne to stay out of trouble. It wasn't that she was looking for trouble, it's just that trouble always managed to find her. Today she wished she could find something equally familiar but more comforting.

The five-year old girl hugged her puffskein closer to her and brushed her face in its soft fur for comfort. She had named him herself and he was always her special pet. No she was certain she had never gone down this side street before. Her anxiety increased every second as darkness fell as she walked down the road. A loud noise came to her left and she buried her face in her pet's fur completely. The scared girl bolted the opposite way slamming the both of them into the wall of the nearest building. Tottering back a few steps she found a door a few feet to her right and ran to open it. What light there was inside spilled out into the darkness and she spilled into the room.

Once in, she was caught between the impulse to curl her cloak up more tightly around her and loosen her grip on it. She wasn't alone anymore but she was now among strangers instead, which was nearly as terrifying. Her puffskein had recovered from the shock of the wall and now was purring contentedly as the girl hugged it, causing a mildly calming effect on the girl. Gathering her courage, she marched up to the nearest person, pulled on the nearest clothing hem and blurted out in a loud voice:

"I'm lost and it's dark and I wanted to know where I am but I'm not scared but I am worried that Sambundeakin is scared because he's little and needs something to eat and wants to go home."

She paused to draw a breath in her nearly never-ending sentence, "He misses my and his mommy."

To explain the scared girl held up the custard-colored puffskein. Sambundeakin the puffskein, however simply purred as if nothing on earth was wrong in the world.

Roleplay Response:
Vincent was clearly out of it for the night. Well, mostly. He rubbed his temples with his fingers in an attempt to drown out the noise of the men around him in the pub. Another day of failure at his struggling career, Vincent found himself standing here, in probably one of the dirtier pubs in the area. How he got here though...no idea.

As he continued to rub his temples, the action seeming to be more soothing to him that he initially thought, he felt a tug on the end of his coat, and in natural response, turned to find the source.

A young girl holding what seemed to be a living ball of fluff, clearly disoriented and frightened, she kept her fingers tightly clasped at the end of Vincent’s coat. He could barely begin to speak as her loud voice filled the room. “I’m lost and it’s dark--” she continued on her rapid deliverance of words, and Vincent slowly knelt down so he could be face to face with the child.

“Hold on, slow down...” he talked softly, gently. He had experience with this kind of thing. It brought him back to his time at Hogwarts, when he was often taking care of the first years.

“He misses my and his mommy.” the girl continued to speak, but she seemed a bit calmer now after hearing Vincent’s kind request. Vincent nodded. Of course, a child shouldn’t be around in this area anyway. Maybe he’d give the mother a good talk or something...nothing was worse than a seemingly oblivious parent. Vincent knew all too well what that felt like.

“Well, let’s get you both home then, hm?” Vincent flashed a grin.
