Biography: (300 words minimum.) https://wordcounter.net/
On June 2nd, Athena Christina Rose Bonnet was born to a family of 4. She lived in a quiet home in Redditch, England with a muggle mother, a wizard father and two older twin sisters. Growing up, Thea had always seemed special and was always called a “delicate flower” by her mother. Instead of playing outside like the other children, Athena always prefered to stay inside and read.

First year:
Thea was a bit nervous like most first years and mostly hid in the library. Being sorted into Ravenclaw (just like her big sisters and father)Thea already knew that she was sorted right. During the year, she made a friend named Delilah. Delilah was the only one who really talked to her through the year. Most would say that they were inseparable.

Second Year:
Delilah and Athena still talked and went everywhere together like normal best friends. Delilah slowly became friends with some other second years, which Athena didn't mind.

Third year:
Delilah seemed to be hanging out with the other students more than Athena but she yet didn’t mind at all. Instead, she found her company with a white rat named Darling.

Fourth year:
By her fourth year, Delilah seemed more distant than ever and starting hanging out with the other friends more, causing trouble and smoking on school grounds. Thea tried to reason with her friend but nothing seemed to work. Towards the end of the year, she and Delilah had a huge fight and didn’t talk to each other the whole summer.

Fifth, Sixth and Seventh:
During her later years, Thea became more and more lonely. Delilah and her hardly spoke towards each other and barely saw each other. During those years, Athena met William. A fellow Ravenclaw and the most charming boy she knew. Both first started out as friends but soon later those feelings became stronger. In the middle of her sixth year, William's family suddenly moved to North American and Thea soon lost contact with him.

Current:
After moving out of her home, Athena wanted to start a new chapter. She didn't want any of her parents money to help her start out, she wanted to earn things herself. During her teenage years, Thea would do summer jobs and save up the money to live in a different city, London. After moving to the great London, Athena decided to get a part time job at The Sinner's House.

Option Two -
The snow had been falling steadily all morning and it didn't look like it was going to stop any time soon. Joshua Campbell scrunched his face up in a frown as he lifted his gaze to look to the sky. Snow. It really was quite a bother.

And it certainly didn't make it better that Diagon Alley seemed to be getting more and more crowded. Joshua sighed and pointed his wand at the large box that was currently placed on the doorstep of his shop. He had to get going. He had an order to deliver.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" The elderly man muttered and watched the box hover in the air for a moment. Honestly, did St. Mungo's really need that much tinsel? And with glitter of all things? He sighed again. If it hadn't been for the rather convincing stamp on the order, he would have been likely to believe it had been a prank by one of those orphaned rascals living up there.

Oh well, there was no point in waiting. Joshua deftly stirred the box down the doorstep and out onto the street, carefully levitating it above the heads of the crowd.

"Coming through! Coming through!" His voice sounded over the chatter of the crowd. "Keep out! Move ahead! Go on!" This was going way too slow. People were in the way and walking like they had all day! He huffed. Luckily the road was down hill.

"Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!" Joshua let out a loud shout as his feet suddenly slipped in the snow and sent him, the box, and several long strands of tinsel tumbling into the person who had been walking in front of him.

"For Merlin's sake!" Joshua muttered angrily as he hurried to his feet again, red and gold tinsel now decorating his black coat. "I am so sorry! This blasted snow!" He looked apologetic at the person he had crashed into.

Roleplay Response:
Winter. Athena’s least favorite season. It was absolutely freezing and her cheeks felt numb. Hugging her blue coat closer to her body, she wandered around through the large crowds of people trying to get somewhere. Everyone seemed to be in a slow pace but Thea figured it was just because of all the traffic jams.

"Coming through! Coming through!"

The blonde heard a voice calling but it was drowned out by the millions of other voices all talking at once. Looking down at her little pocket watch, she realized she needed to get to work soon or else she might be tardy...again.

"Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!"

Athena felt a body clashed into her’s, knocking both of them to the ground. Shaking the snow from her hair, she got to her feet and wiped off snow that was clinging onto her coat.

Looking up, she realized an elderly man standing there covered in what looked like..glitter?

“Are you alright sir? Any injuries?” She asked him, her face clouded with concern. With all of the ice, no doubt that he must have accidently slipped but there still was a concern that he may have broken something.

"I am so sorry! This blasted snow!"

She gave him a warm smile before picking up the box that laid on the ground. Dusting the snow off of it, Thea offered it to the man.

“No serious harm done, As long as you're alright then everything’s fine..well maybe not for the glitter box” She cringed slightly at the condition of the poor box. All smashed and ruined.

Biography: Emaline Ireland Woods was born on December 12, to Gregory and Juliana Woods. In the beginning, Em was an innocent, Oblivious, Optimistic, Shy girl who turned a blind eye when seeing her parents constant fighting. For years everything seemed normal, except all the loads of lessons Emaline's mother constantly gave her to become a true pureblood. She didn't really have a lot of friend at the beginning because of her quiet self that didn't really talk to people. Somewhere During the middle of her 3rd term, she got an owl to return home for some "Family business".

When she got home, her father broke the news to her about how her mother and him were going to file a divorce. At first she was confused and a little scared. Why a divorce? They seemed perfectly fine before. But soon it turned into anger and disappointment. Apparently her mother and father were secretly cheating on one and other. Of course her parents were aware of each other cheating but kept it together for Em.

Finally the last straw was pulled and a divorce paper came. While her parents were working on the divorce papers, Emaline went to go live with her aunt, uncle and cousin for a bit. While she was with her other family, she had started meeting her cousins friends of trouble makers. At first she was nervous but later started learning their ways and hung out with them.

After making friends with all of her cousin's friends, she started to adjust to their troublesome ways and started to change. As she changed into a different person, it felt like a snake shedding skin.even All of her innocent, depressed self was gone and replaced with a reserved, blocked girl. Every now and then, pieces of her old self would show up around friends that were close to her. Sometimes people change, either for the better or for the worse.

House Request: Hufflepuff (Re-app)

Personality:
Ever since her visit with her cousins, Em's personality has changed a bit. Ema is more of a carefree, sarcastic, observant girl. She tends to get into more trouble then what she used to do, her smirking face always found in some teachers office after class. She also seemed to shed off the nervousness she got when talking to boys, now that she has quite the few male friends herself. Even though she acts this tough around others, deep down she's still the same Emaline Woods that everyone knew. Ema still enjoys reading and getting excited over stupid teen girl things.

Appearance:
Body Structure: Curvy
Hair color: Dark brown hair that curls at the middle of her back.
Eye Color: Pale green.
Skin color: Fairy pale.

You come across one of these posts on the site. Please select one & reply as your character. Remember, you can only roleplay your own character's actions, not Evangeline's or Hugh's.

Option I:

The dungeons. A place eleven-year-old Evangeline had not yet travelled since her arrival at Hogwarts.

A place she really was just fine with not knowing; but it was too late. The dare had been accepted, even if it had been done in fear of being kicked out of Gryffindor, like the older girls had said she would because Gryffindors were supposed to be brave.

The air changed instantly when she hit the main corridor of the dungeons. The dampness was almost too much for her and she instinctively took a deep breath to avoid the sensation of being suffocated. There was also a sour burning smell which Evangeline assumed was from many, many Potions lessons.

Further and further she walked, her steps so slow and gentle they made no noise against the stone walls and floor. The feeling that she wasn't alone crept up her spine and raised the tiny hair on the back of her neck. Shivering, Evangeline wrapped her arms around herself. Suddenly, she missed the warmth and comfort of the Gryffindor common room. The fire was always going and it made her feel at ease.

Why had she let those girls talk her into this? She was only eleven, she didn't have to be brave. Surely the Headmistress would not kick her out of Hogwarts for not being brave.

If only she had these thoughts while being dared to search for the ghost of one Emma Birch, whom supposedly haunted the dungeons. It was not, Evangeline had learned, the place where the sixteen-year-old girl's life had ended but as she had been from the house with a snake as its mascot, it was the place her spirit had returned to. That common room was down here somewhere, she'd been told.

Something - the small blonde girl wasn't quite sure what - but something made her stop in her tracks suddenly. There was a low, dull thumping noise. Or maybe that was her heart beating so loudly she thought it was coming from outside her body.

"H-h-hello?" Her voice was barely above a whisper.

Remembering that she was supposed to be brave, Evangeline tried again.

"Hello! Is Emma Birch here?"

The sound of her own words bouncing back at her off the walls made her jump.

Option 2:

That rat of his was in for it now.

The gray little rascal had disappeared from his clutches at breakfast. Again.

Before Hugh even knew what was happening, Merlin had shot across the floor, somehow managing to avoid all the feet walking across the hall and had escaped through the open doors.

Which meant that Hugh was now stomping through rows of flowers and other various flora, searching for the small creature. It was like the rat knew Hugh was allergic to most flowers. Merlin always chose to run to the gardens whenever he got away from Hugh. It was as if the rat did not want to have him for an owner.

Hugh had named his pet Merlin because he had hoped the powerful name would give the rat more incentive to be more than a rat. Not that he expected Merlin to change into a wizard or anything, but rats were just so...useless, for the most part. With a name like Merlin, Hugh thought it might give the rat purpose.

The only purpose Merlin seemed to have was getting away from Hugh as often as possible.

As the fifth year trudged into the second row of flowers, not taking much care to avoid trampling the first row, he felt the first sneeze building up pressure in his nose and behind his eyes.

"You blasted rat! Where are you?"

He pulled apart a section of bright red flowers; he didn't know what they were called because he despised flowers, and ducked his head low to peer into the depths of the flowerbed. It was moving closer in proximity to the flowers that finally did it. Hugh took in three great breaths and then let out an almighty sneeze. It was strong enough to disturb some of the dirt on the ground before him.

Groaning, he stood up again and wiped his nose on his sleeve. It was as he was turning his head, his nose running up and down his arm, that movement in his peripheral vision caught his attention. Normally one who preferred to put his best face forward, Hugh was a bit embarrassed to be caught wiping his runny nose on his robes.

Nevertheless, Hugh put on his best haughty voice. albeit a bit thickly with his plugged nose and said, "Can I help you with something? It is not polite to stare."

My roleplay: Option 2

Emaline had secretly been outside during breakfast to do her homework that she had forgotten to do the night before.
Even though she had skipped breakfast, she had packed a small nut bar in her cross bag just to postpone her hunger till lunch. She watched as the grass danced as a small breeze blew by, making brown hair fly into her mouth. A small movement near the bright flowers caught her attention. A frown creased her brows as she slowly walked closer; but it quickly vanished as she noticed it was a 5th year. A hint of amusement crossed her light green eyes as she watched him struggled to find his pet, which she noticed was an adorable grey rat. The right corner of her mouth turned up as she saw the boy wiping his runny nose(Which she figured out that he was probably allergic to flowers).

"Can I help you with something? It is not polite to stare."

Emaline snorted before a smirk crossed her face.

“Sorry I just noticed that you seem to be having some difficulties on catching your rat. Well, looking around in rows of flowers isn't going to help;Rats are very smart creatures so my best bet is to lay out some food..like this” She explained by breaking some of her nut bar off and setting it in front of them.

"So whats your name? I believe I haven't seen you around before. You would think I would remember a handsome face like yours" She winked playfully as she watched the mouse scurry around.

After a few minutes, a small grey head poked out between the red flowers and nibbled on the nut. Emaline smiled at her accomplishment before the bell for  Potions rang.
“See ya around!” She farewelled before running inside the castle.

Biography: (100 words minimum.)
Emaline was born in a small neighborhood in London, England. Growing up Emaline didn't really have a lot of friends. Because she was raised in such a small neighborhood out in the woods she was pretty much the only child around. The elderly always enjoyed Em's presents and because of that then they could spoil her like they're own grandchild. They baked her sweet and knighted her hats and gloves for the winter. But everyone knew Emaline was special. Just from the magical sparks on her fingers when touched or from the strange dreams she had at night. The 3 elderly women that lived near Emaline knew that one day she would get the letter since the elderly ladies actually attended Hogwarts! On her first year she had a blast! On her second year the elderly ladies sent her 2 gallons worth to buy herself a pet to take to hogwarts. She happily chose a Pygmy Puff  for her 2nd year of hogwarts.

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:

Emaline sat there high in a big willow tree re-reading over spells and hexes. Her icy green gaze scanned the words written out in front of her.
“Do you wanna play?” She heard a girl in the field in front of the willow tree calling at Em. She noticed that she was holding a toy broom and seemed to be having troubles.
“Uhh sure?” She replied hopping down from the tree and setting her book down. Emaline then jogged over towards the girl.
“I never really rode these things and never seemed interesting but i’ll give it a try” Emaline shrugged. Emaline pulled her hair into a side braid and tighten her sneakers.
“May I?” She asked reaching for the little girl’s broom. Emaline’s soft palms reaching out in a friendly gesture to try out the broom.

When she was around 10 years old she got a letter from Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. The 3 elderly women that lived near Emaline knew that one day she would get the letter since the elderly ladies actually attended Hogwarts! On her first year she had a blast! She made some acquaintances but they never stayed in touch. She wowed the elderly with her new magic she learned and they even showed her some silly fun tricks to play.  Before her 2nd year her family decided to move to a small cottage in Hogsmeade near by a calm river. On her second year the elderly ladies sent her 2 gallons worth to buy herself a pet to take to hogwarts. She happily chose a Pygmy Puff  for her 2nd year of hogwarts.
