Hi Percival, welcome to the site!
Your application looks good so far, there's just a couple of things we'll need you to edit before we can get you accepted.
Your roleplay sample looks great so far, however we do ask that players try to write at least nine sentences in a typical roleplay sample. This ensures that the other participant (in this case, Hugh) has enough to respond to. It also helps us learn a bit more about your character, which can help us when we're sorting people into houses!
If you're not sure what to write, you could write about why Percival is in the garden and what he thinks of Hugh destroying the flowers or wiping his nose on his sleeve.
You also mention that Percival gives Hugh a tissue. This would technically be powerplay, as Hugh might choose to refuse to accept the tissue. If you can reword this to 'Percival attempted to give Hugh a tissue from his pocket' or 'Percival offered Hugh a tissue from his pocket', this would resolve the powerplaying issue.

Hi Salazar, welcome to the site! Your application looks good so far, however there are a few things we'll need to clarify and a couple of things we'll need you to edit before we can get you accepted. In your biography, you state the following: Drayton Kedavra was a shady man. He did Dark dealings all the time and and he was semi-famous amongst the Dark community. Not a supporter of Blood Purity or the like, he just loved the Dark Arts. Whilst it's permitted for Salazar's family to have a dark background, please bear in mind our site rating, particularly in regards to horror and violence, and our special request guidelines, which require members to submit special requests for darker plot lines, which would include plot lines involving dark magic. You do not need a special request for the general reference to Salazar's family being involved in darker magic, but if you intend to go into any further detail about this, you will need to submit a special request before posting anything, so please bear this in mind when writing! In your biography, you also state: By the time his Hogwarts letter had come, Salazar was proficient in the basics of the Dark Arts - All first years start with limited levels which restricts their magical ability to a basic level. You'll need to remove the reference to Salazar being proficient in dark magic from your biography, as this will conflict with Salazar's levels once term starts. Salazar is welcome to retain a theoretical interest in dark magic, but his magical abilities will be limited when he starts his schooling. Please also bear in mind that if you wish for Salazar to become proficient in dark magic in future, you will need to submit a special request for this, as it will likely be classed as a darker plot. When describing Salazar's appearance, you state: Scar on his chest (due to an accident with Dark Magic) As per the special request guidelines (linked above), magical scarring is something which requires a special request. You will either need to submit a special request for this scarring (see here for the template) or remove this reference from your application. Please bear in mind that special requests can often take some time for us to review, so it may be better to remove this from your biography for now and submit a special request separately to ensure that your application is processed in time for the new term. In your roleplay sample, you also imply that Salazar is a Slytherin. Although we do try to take house preferences into account, please note that this isn't guaranteed yet and Salazar may be placed in another house. You don't need to change this in your RP sample, but I did want to flag this for awareness. Hi Raúl, welcome back!
Your application looks great, there's just one thing I need to clarify before we get you accepted. In your biography, you mention that Raúl's mother is from 'wizarding royalty'. Can I just check whether you mean this literally or whether you're simply referring to the fact that she comes from a long line of Purebloods?
On a separate note, if you'd like to have Raúl's username changed to include the accent over the 'u', feel free to submit a helpdesk ticket and we can make that change for you!

Please write in third person past tense (e.g. 'she walked in'). Your current RP sample is written in the present tense. Please could you rewrite your RP sample so that it is written in the past tense? On a slightly separate note, our student applications are now open. Hi Will, Your application looks good, there's just one thing I need to clarify before we can get you accepted. When you reference Commander Quasar in your application, are you referring to this Marvel character? If so, this character doesn't appear in Marvel's comics until 1978, which is still another 12 years away(!), so you'll need to edit your application to remove any references to him and repost your entire revised application below. If you're not referring to this character, could you please post below to clarify which character you are referring to, so that we can double-check whether the references align with the current timeline? You state that Scarlet's birthday is 4 November 1951, but also note that she is 15 and going into her fifth year. We're about to go into the 1966-67 term, so if you want Scarlet to be 15/5th year, she would have been born in November 1950, not November 1951.
If you can either edit her birth year to 1950 or her age/requested year to 14/4th, then we can go ahead and get you accepted.
No need to repost the whole application, just respond to this to clarify whether you want to change her birth year (you'll need to edit this on her profile too) or her age/year. Thanks!

In your RP sample, you only include one line from Percival in response to Janey. We typically ask that players write at least 9 sentences per post if responding to a thread which is written in a longer format. Sometimes, players do post one-liner threads, but for the purposes of the RP sample, we ask that you write a slightly longer response. If you're unsure what else you could include in your response, you could write about how Percival is feeling that day, why he is in the park, whether he has ever ridden a broomstick before, what he thinks about Janey, etc. I also want to flag that you mention Percival successfully cast some spells prior to Hogwarts. Whilst this is supported in HP canon, please bear in mind that we have very specific magical rules and Percival's magical levels will be limited as an incoming first year to Hogwarts. You don't need to amend anything in your biography, but I just wanted to make sure you were aware of our magical rules for future posts. If Rory was born in August 1941, she would currently be 24 (turning 25 in Summer 1966, which starts in August 2022 OOC). If she's currently 25, she would have been born in August 1940 (and would turn 26 in Summer 1966/August 2022 OOC).
If you can alter either her birth year or her age to reflect that she is currently 24, turning 25 this summer, that would resolve the conflict.

Just a quick note for awareness: you reference Callum being in Slytherin in your biography. Although we try to give everyone their choice of house, this isn't always possible, as we need to also ensure we have a relatively even number of characters per house. We always advise that players do not reference houses in their biographies or posts when creating an Elsewhere-only student because this can create conflicting narratives if they later choose to play the character as a played student on the castle board and the character is placed in a different house. You don't have to change this and your application has been accepted, but I thought I should flag this to you for awareness now to avoid any disappointment or frustration with conflicting narratives later down the line.
