CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character name: Jun Williams Mizutori

Previous and/or Current Character(s) if applicable: Rin Hunter, Richard Mizutori

Character age: 22

Character education:
Mahoutokoro School of Magic - 1931 - 1938

Strength and weaknesses (details please):
Jun is fairly intelligent, having passed all his exams with grades slightly above average. He can change his personality to whatever suits the situation best, his everyday life being proof of it, and knows how to get people to like him even though he holds no interest in others expect for his own gain. He can read people with minimal accuracy, yet well enough that he can usually have a basic idea of what someone is thinking if he looks hard enough, but is no where near as good as his brother. He lacks a sense of compassion and can get depressed easily, but can keep his emotions in check. His attention span is next to none and gets bored very easily, also holding a very short temper, although he usually hides his irritation with a smile and asks politely whoever is annoying him to stop doing whatever it is that has dampened his mood. Jun can act quite childish at times and usually starts sulking whenever he receives any form of criticism, and can often seek the attention of others due to his childhood. It'll be a rare occasion that he will ever admit to any of his faults, and this can often be misinterpreted as him being arrogant.

Physical description:
Jun can be often seen with his trademark fedora nestled on his head. He's just above average height at 6' and has a slim build, weighing slightly less than the average for his height. With his high cheek bones and boyish charm Jun can be seen as attractive to some despite his disinterest on the subject of love. His hair is naturally curly which annoys him greatly, despite his siblings constantly telling him it looks fine, he sometimes straightens it but rarely can be bothered.

Personality (nice, rude, funny etc. Paragraph please.):
Jun is an odd young man, but you'd have to be if you had a career in Ghoul Studies. He has learned with experience how to conceal his emotions and often hides beneath a mask he has taken years to perfect.

The persona he uses publicly is a fairly easygoing man who likes to look on the bright side of life. He tends to be very clumsy, often tripping over things, and was always ridiculed by his family because of it. Jun's behavior usually leads to others interpreting him as stupid and a bit dopey, leading to said people being very surprised when they find out his actual intelligence (if they ever do). His has a fascination with ghosts and enjoys experimenting on them, this is the only, genuine trait of his that he allows himself to expose to others. He is very passionate when it comes to his studies, although the methods he uses are somewhat different to what others would use, described by others as weird and eccentric. Knowing how to have a good laugh, he is very likable and the polar opposite of his older brother, although they are not that different on the inside.

His true nature is cold and calculating. He holds a deep bond with all of his siblings and will do anything in his power to keep them happy and safe, even though it is usually Richard who, as the oldest, is the one that does the most for them. He has a an extremely pessimistic view on life and hates his parents for ignoring him as a child, being reasonable enough to know it wasn't his older brother's fault for being the family heir. His fascination with ghosts is still present although it has a darker twist to it. Even though ghosts are his main passion, most other things to do with death interest him greatly. He holds a soft spot for ghosts and enjoys talking with them, also not wasting the opportunity to learn more about the life of a ghoul. Also, as a Mizutori, he holds the traditional views of his family which are prejudiced against halfbloods and muggleborns.

Hopes and dreams. Why are you teaching at Hogwarts?:
Jun was always the only one who had any mild interest in ghosts whatsoever. He hopes to be able to reach others and make them feel the same passion for the subject as he does, and hopefully get them into a similar career as his and to also meet new people with a passion for the subject they teach, and hopefully talk about it. He also knows there are a few ghosts in the school Although, his main reason for applying was so he could keep an eye on his younger sister.

Biography (500 words minimum. There is never such a thing as too much.):
Born the older twin to Adeline and younger brother to Richard, Jun always carried an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He would often stay alone in the castle's library for hours, with only his twin for company, but even she wasn't there all the time. He had a tutor during the years where he was too young to go to school, but he found her teaching skills mediocre at best, even complaining to his father about it. It seemed that his father, nor his mother, paid no interest to his problems, for their sole attention was for Richard, him being the eldest and therefore heir to the family. Jun wasn't the only one who his parents ignored, Adeline was also rarely given a second chance, and when his younger sister Alisa was born, she was ignored even more upon reaching the age when she no longer required to depend on their mother.

After Alisa was born, neither of her siblings wanted her to have the same, lonely upbringing as Jun and Adeline had, so the four remained extremely close and Alisa was given the love she should have received from her parents by her older siblings.

When it had been announced Richard was to be moving with their father abroad, all three were outraged, but it was only Jun who kept his anger hidden. When his sisters cried as they bid their farewells, it was Jun who stayed silent for he knew he had to stay strong for them- he was the oldest out of them now.

Contact with Richard was kept to a minimum, but no so that they grew more distant. Jun stayed in a state of depression for a few weeks after Richard had left, but he tried his best to hide it from everyone else. It was during this stage of depression he realized how much he hated his parents, for ignoring him and his sisters, and now for taking Richard away from them, and he swore to himself that he wouldn't let them take control of him as they did with his older brother.

At school, Jun developed a rebellious streak against his parents, but how he carried it out was not how one would usually expect. He earned the title of "class clown", always messing around and bring the brunt of jokes, failing exam after exam. Despite his reputation, however, Jun was surprisingly popular and very few mocked him with intentional scorn. It wasn't until he took his OWLs that his true intelligence became known, getting one of the highest grades in his year.

His high grades were thanks to the constant studying he put himself through day after day in one of the older rooms he had turned into a study. It wasn't until the first few days he spent there, that he realized the room was in fact haunted. The ghost was of a young boy who had died of disease in a village that had previously existed on the land the Mizutori Castle was built in. It became a tradition of Jun's to talk to the ghost whilst he studied, and as time grew on he grew more and more curious on the subject of ghosts. He asked the boy question upon question about being a ghost and soon had an extent knowledge of spectral beings.

There was only so much he could learn from one ghost, however, and it was shortly after graduating that he left home to study ghouls, constantly travelling to locations of ghost sightings as well as meeting up with the rare other who held an interest in them. He traveled for almost five years straight, often sending owls to his siblings when he could.

It was when he had finally come back that he found out that Alisa had moved to England, with Richard acting as her guardian, to enroll at Hogwarts. Finally given the chance to live happily with his siblings, he convinced Adeline to go with him to London and the twins left Japan.

It didn't take long for them to find Richard and Alisa, and the siblings all had a happy reunion after years of separation. Richard got a job in the ministry, and Adeline in St Mungo's. Left on his own when everyone else was away, Jun started to think too much about Alisa's happiness at her new school which soon grew into something he couldn't brush off.

It was after next to no consideration at all, he applied to become a professor at Hogwarts, much to his younger sister's horror.

SAMPLE ROLEPLAY
(Please respond to to this in third person past tense. Do not write the other characters' reactions. Only your own.)

It was the largest office in Hogwarts and, perhaps to students and newcomers, the most intimidating. The shelves were filled with various odds and ends, with a place of honor for the Sorting Hat, and the walls held all the portraits of past Headmasters and Headmistresses.

In the middle of the room sat a large desk. Everything was in order, for the current occupant had always despised a messy desk. It was the sign of a messy mind, and she had always favored neatness.

A clock sat on the desk, which currently showed the time to be 2:05. The meeting was supposed to begin at 2:00 precisely.

Along with order, Anneka valued punctuality. She was a very busy woman these days. Even during the summer, she had a number of matters to attend to. Interviewing and hiring staff was only of those matters. The newest potential member of her staff wasn't making a good impression.

She paced the room, black heels clicking against the stone floor. When the door finally opened, Anneka turned, her expression reminiscent of a Russian winter. "You are late."

Explain yourself was what her face said.

Roleplay Response:

"You are late."

These were the first words spoken to him by the woman who was (hopefully) going to employ him.

So much for a warm welcome, and here he thought the British were supposed to be polite. It was with that thought that he then made a note to not trust British stereotypes. Wait till he told that to everyone back in Japan. He was sure there was going all too many surprised expressions at this. It was at these times he wondered if it would help for his family to have a bit more knowledge on foreign countries, that didn't involve the stereotypes which circled across the whole continent.

The room itself was fairly vast, bigger than most, if not all, all those in his old house. Impressive was the first word that came to mind. Not that he would admit it. Giving something or someone too much praise would make them seem better than him- and he wasn't going to have any of that.

"Sorry, I seemed to have lost track of time..."

His words were accompanied with a crooked grin and an apologetic look. With one hand raking through his messy hair he wasn't exactly the picture of finesse, but hopefully the woman had more sense than to judge one by appearances.

Hopefully for her, anyway.

He'd already decided he didn't like her. Good first impressions were always important to him, and the woman before him had made anything but. If she didn't accept his application his opinion on her would sour even more. He would make sure to complain to father about this, that was if he'd even take the effort to look away from his papers of Richard for one blasted moment. The hand in his hair tightened unconsciously and he reflectively let it fall back to his side at the sharp burst of pain.

Throughout all of that, his face had managed to keep it's smile and it would have seemed as if nothing had happened from the view of another. Changing his expression to a more mild, more professional looking one, he waited for an answer.
