Biography: (100 words minimum.)
“Merlin, when we grow up… are we going to be like our parents?”

“I’m not.”

Taharial sat crossed legged across from a tall female, blonde hair hanging down to her waist, brushing gently against her knees. Her blue eyes connected with Taharial’s, brows raised, questioning the red headed girl across from her. Nina belonged to another transparent, lucid pureblooded family, where carbonated cutouts of their ancestry was expected and produced by one generation after another. However, Nina was different. She held a sort of regal aggressiveness about her, and of course, she was Taharial’s best friend.

Tahra tilted her head slightly, eyes glancing upwards at the darkening sky that framed the Altier Manor. Stars, softened by the growing fog dotted the sky above them, giving it the appearance of freckles, similar to the ones that crossed over the red headed females cheeks. Wind lifted both girls hair ever so slightly and induced goose bumps upon pale arms, bare against the breeze. Nightgowns covered their legs and reached up towards their necks with lace that caressed over their jugulars, matching sets. Although, Tahra believed it looked better on the blonde before her, giving definition to her sharp jawbone and bringing out the amber in her eyes.

She gulped and blushed heavily.

Mother and father had not seen the signs, didn’t believe that they could possibly be there, because Taharial Evangeline was an Altier, born and raised to be something that could not possibly bring upon spontaneous difficulties and problems in the unforeseeable future. For they believed that their daughter, had everything. Which wasn’t exactly a lie, Tahra was given everything, the world written upon her palm and opportunities granted on the tips of her fingers. Similar to her brother Damien, money was never a problem and Tahra never went without a couple galleons in her pocket.

However, she was an experiment, a test of sorts.

For Taharial was sent to Hogwarts while Damien was allowed to join the ranks of the prestige and prosperous, at a pureblood private school for the gifted, or rather for the wealthy. Friendship and companionship was bought and Damien had everything there. He graduated with honours and in Tahra’s eyes, was a gift wrapped bundle of success for the family, such as many other Altier, Alvear and Albear children. Pristine little packaged soldiers moulded into something that would produce another generation of foolproof children.

So where on earth did they go wrong with Taharial?

She was a sickly child.

Never well and never far from the care of servants and family. She was never meant to make it past her childhood, always standing on the cliff, juggling death and disease. She believed that eventually all hope was lost and Tahra, considered a lost case. However, due to unnatural causes and the help of numerous healers, Tahra survived, flaws and all. This did lead to her having an extremely weak immune system and brittle bones that broke by a mere shove. She was often assigned to remain in her chambers, in fear of simply harming herself whilst playing with the other children. She did not attend any form of pre education and received tutors that gifted her with the knowledge of language, history and mathematics. She was a natural at all she did however grew bored extremely quickly.

This led to reckless activities, such as attempting to break into her brothers bedroom, putting her physical and mental health in danger. The possibility of death by tickling was quite high and to a normal child, this would seem to be a regular prepubescent activity, but due to Taharial’s aliments, this could possibly lead to an accidental broken bone or nose bleed. It was never Damien’s fault though, she would try to flee from him and end up walking into a wall, or possibly even crashing into the older boy and harm herself. So he avoided her, and so did the other children, fearing to face the wrath of her parents. Taharial resented them for this, and for many more unnecessary attempts to protect her.

So once she enrolled into Hogwarts and received her letter, the girl was ecstatic.

She was clever and did well in her classes, only ever receiving grades to be looked down upon due to her own laziness and carelessness. She was surely punished for this and treated unfairly by her parents who believed in strict punishment. She would be cut off from her allowance and was prevented from leaving the manor, which was enough punishment for the girl. However she never truly broke the rules and tried to remain in the fencing of her parents limits, which she did well enough. But as she grew older, the female struggled with feelings and the concept of right and wrong. She cared about boys a lot, and often preened herself to look attractive to the opposite sex, however couldn’t help but do the same around the company of other girls.

She never allowed her family to catch wind of this, hiding it within herself and allowed shame to bury it beneath her. As Taharial neared her fifth year in Hogwarts, she received a longer leash from her family and was granted a larger amount of freedom, which was absolutely thrilling for the female. She was allowed to spend more time in London and visited her family more often, extending her boundaries from the ones she had grown so accustomed too. But she still never fled too far from Nina.

“How can you be so sure?”

Nina grinned, silvery blonde hair bouncing against her legs and surrounding the girl with a sort of heavenly glow, which taunted Taharial even more. She was so plain beside her friend, freckly and pink skinned compared to something that looked more veela then anything else. She rubbed her eyes in an attempt to hide her distress before glancing back at Nina, eyes locking and lashes batting, clearing her vision from the static that appeared from the pressure against her eyelids. She felt as though the stars had come down from the sky and lightly dusted her pupils, and possibly Nina’s hair.

“I just know.”

She glanced upwards at the sky, tearing her eyes away from her friend.

“The stars told me so.”

Roleplay:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
She had just come back from visiting Ra’as.

Summer tinted hair swayed around her waist in thick waves, brushing against her temple. Tahra brushed it back with a scoff and pushed hair behind her ears, attempting to make herself look somewhat decent. However it was absolutely boiling outside and her face reddened with every step she took and Tahra couldn't help but sigh slightly, her eyes glancing downwards at her shoes and monitored the ground before her.

She couldn’t afford to fall, after Ra’as had asked her if she wanted to be walked home. He’d be angry with her and so would mother and father, they might even blame the boy for not taking care of her properly, which was absolute bollocks. She was perfectly fine by herself and resented the fact that everyone believed she needed to be looked after and treated as though the slightest bump would break her, even if it did possibly break a few bones.

However, she pushed the thoughts out of her mind, allowing a clear slate to fall upon her consciousness. She had enjoyed spending time with her cousin, he had shown her a beautifully written poem by an old Ravenclaw graduate, and Tahra had teased him saying that she never believed that, and that he had written the poem and jokingly called him a priss. She smiled at the thought. She was rather fond of the male and believed he wasn’t given enough credits for his wits and intelligent ideas.

Tahra crossed the park, hardly noticing the children around her until one called out to her.

"You!"

She turned around and looked across the stretch of grass, attempting to identify who the tiny female was addressing, however crossed her brows in confusion as she realized that the little girl was talking to her.

"...Do you want to play?”

She was in no rush to be home, and she was quite sure that Damien would appreciate some more hours of quiet before he was expected to listen to her discuss her day. And besides, what could possibly go wrong? She would make sure to watch her step.

“Alright, what do you have in mind then?”
