Biography:
Chartreuse Greene was born to a pirate. Well, he wasn't really a pirate. He just happened to look like a pirate. His name was Dark Greene. He lost an eye in an unfortunate incident back in 1910 that led him to wear a patch. He was also a writer, but his accent made it sound like a raider. Chartreuse didn't know much about raiding, other than it was the business of Pirates.

Chartreuse wasn't special. She wasn't an orphan. She wasn't a nanny, far as you know. She was ordinary and gross. She wasn't much to look at, either. That is, unless you liked to look at odd things. Her hair was often oily and matted. Her fingers were usually dirty. Chartreuse wasn't playing out in the mud. She just didn't wash well. She thought it was because her father lived the life of a pirate. In all reality, her parents tried to keep her clean and well-fed, but Chartreuse was stubborn and angry about not being a pirate.

Chartreuse knew her parents were wizards, but she had much preferred to follow her father's footsteps and become a full fledged pirate. That would be the life for her. Sad days were ahead for this unkempt child. An owl delivered the news, and Chartreuse was packed up and wallabied off.

If you must know a little of her backstory, Chartreuse loved to read; however, she often forgot about her love to read when she found herself outside in the world. It was a big playground, this world. She could pretend like no other, and no other she was. She saw no need for magic because she could imagine whatever she fancied. The reality of this magic world seemed to nullify her dreams and fairy tales, rather than cement them.

Her parents was glad to see her go. They weren't tired of her. They simply hoped school would enlighten their dull child.

→ SAMPLE ROLEPLAY.
Please reply to one of the Sample Roleplays below.
Chartreuse Greene had not settled well into life at Hogwarts. She was frequently running behind or running into someone's behind, which led to many an awkward encounter. She was bound to crash into the boy named James who had suddenly turned in front of her.

WHAT! Haven't you ever seen a loser before? Why don't you just take a picture!"

Chartreuse was put off. She did not care for this sort of behavior in boys, at all. "My dear, James. You mustn't treat me so. I dare say you wouldn't want others cherishing pictures of you in this state, but if you say so…" She gave him the once over, pulled out her camera from her pack, and tried to snap a picture of him before he could run off or some sort.

"Just you wait. I'll run to the bathroom and try to make myself cry, so we can look like quite the pair!" Her voice was giddy in an awful way.

Adonis Blythe.

Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Delphinus Adonis Blythe was the first born and favorite son of the pureblooded Augustus and Callidora, inheriting all that came with that. Spoiled and ambitious, he tended to be a bit of a pill at Hogwarts, where he was thankfully put into Slytherin. He enjoyed the Defense Against the Dark Arts more than any other class. His first year in the class, he shared a desk with a mudblood Ravenclaw, Saturn Oscar Darkgem. They procured quite a bit of capers and carryings-ons together.

Saturn quickly became his best mate. They were rarely seen apart. It was, in fact, through Saturn that he met another Ravenclaw, Quintessa Lancaster. Prior to dating Quintessa, Delphinus had an awful fight with Saturn. Their unsaid feelings of interest and desire had been kept at bay too long. Delphinus couldn't fight the feeling anymore. He'd forgotten what he started fighting for. When Saturn said he shared the same feelings, Delphinus kissed him; however, both seemed uncertain of holding onto those feelings almost immediately after and came to blows with fists and wands. For the rest of his tenure at Hogwarts, they would not speak. Delphinus would blame the only thing he could think of, Saturn's blood. Having some muggle blood must have made him weak and inferior.

Quintessa Lancaster was unaware of what their fight had been about but continued to be by Delphinus' side. Their last year at Hogwarts was quite sentimental. He had never cared for a friend as much as he did for Quintessa…or at least, he wouldn't allow himself to remember a closer relationship.

A month after graduating from Hogwarts, Delphinus and Quintessa were married. He took an internship with the ministry in France. A few months later on the 29th day of August, Quintessa gave birth to their first daughter, Theodosia. Quintessa would not return to Hogwarts for her final year. They would go on to have Abigail in 1916, Delphinus, Jr in 1918, Phineas in 1920, Augustus in 1922, Alpheus in 1926, and Tocelyn in 1929. He would raise his children in Beauxbatons. Delphinus was a close father before his kids went to school. As each entered school age, he grew distant. He saw his own insecurities in them, which did not allow for him to accept those aspects of their personhood. The anger he had at himself for not being perfect would often get lashed out at the offspring when they reminded him of the teenage Delphinus, Sr.

His hatred for impure blood developed through his relationships with Saturn. He saw how strong the relationships of the pureblooded were and how feeble muggles and mudbloods had become. This ideal would keep him bonded to his wife and family for life, no matter what his feelings might be.

He did quite well in the ministry and business. Upon retiring from the ministry, he continued to run the family businesses of cauldron importation and some other reasonably shady dealings. As of late, he has become a sympathizer to the Order.

After his children had begotten children, he became less edgy and irritable. He had dealt with some of his insecurities and no longer raged at teenagers of pureblood heritage. Delphinus, Jr's son Augustus named his first son after Delphinus, Sr. Adonis, the first great-grandson of pure blood was born when Delphinus was 65 years old. As Delphinus watched Adonis grow, he saw himself in the boy. He loved going to Adonis' sisters' 'theaters' where the boy would star in the plays.

Currently, Delphinus' family lives together with his mother, who doesn't seem able to pass on to whatever is next. He's a mostly stern man who finds solace in the theatrical arts on occasion.

EXCEPTIONAL LEVELS
Answer these questions only if you are requesting levels above 32.

Why are you requesting higher than usual levels? e.g. Is your character a professor/auror/etc.? (1-2 sentences minimum):
Delphinus did multiple trainings with the French Ministry over his tenure, advancing his skills. He does not have super extraordinary levels, since he didn't aim to be an auror or healer, however.

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:

Mr. Grunch smirked as stepped into the shadows beneath the overhanging eaves at the side of the street. There was a sort of alcove here, where two buildings came together, and the wall was set back just a couple of feet to make space for a drain from the battered lead guttering. It made it difficult to see if anyone was standing there until you were almost on top of it, and the shape of the roof up above cast an almost permanent shadow even then.

There were a number of such places along Knockturn Alley and Mr. Grunch knew them all.

Seeing nobody was nearby, he quickly cast the concealment spell that would obscure his features, making him unrecognisable, just a blur beneath the cowl of his thick, but worn, robes. He knew his target, had identified them some time before, as they entered the Alley. He had shadowed them, discretely, and now, he knew, they were heading back out again, towards the safety of the better lit Diagon Alley.

He heard the footsteps approaching. This was it, then. Just before they reached the alcove, he stepped out suddenly in front of his target, wand raised and ready.

"Give me all yer galleons, and any jewellery yer got! Don't try to hide nothin', 'cos I'll know, right? Do it now!"

Roleplay Response:
Delphinus the Elder shambled down the Alley alone, hoping to arrive at Gringott's before nightfall. "Holy hell, " he muttered. "Why must my wretched mother still insist that I do her bidding?" Although well into his elderly age, he was still haunted by the ancient matriarch of the family. He continued to murmur nonsensically about his mother, saying things he would never say to her saggy face.

"Give me all yer galleons, and any jewellery yer got! Don't try to hide nothin', 'cos I'll know, right? Do it now!"

Delphinus pulled his wand out of his cane as he turned and concentrated his thoughts,
"Expelliarmus!" Though Delphinus appeared quite decrepit. He was still mightily agile with his cane and wand. "Stupefy!" He did not know this blurred-face stranger in front of him. Lectured the poor savage, "What had this world come to? Wizards feeling no other choice but to steal from other wizards?" Thinking of the spell the slug had cast over his appearance, "Finite Incantatem!" Delphinus hoped the true identity of this common thief would be revealed. "You have some nerve!"
