SHOPKEEPER PERMIT
You must have applied as an Elsewhere character before completing this permit.

Shop name: Duke's House of Law
Shop Type: Not a shop, a law firm/attorneys office. Xavier is a lawyer and runs his own firm.
Location: London

Short Description (50 words max):

A large 5 story building that offers different services to the people of the wizarding world, run by a former business partner of the Minister of Magic. It offers services in divorce, criminal cases and much more.

Long Description (200 words min):

Outside Duke' House of Law sits on a main road in Wizarding London. It is 5 stories of magnificent architecture which is made out of white stone. Each floor has four pillar balconies. Two at the front and two at the back. At the front of the building each balcony has a dragon gargoyle resting on the outer edge.

Before entering the building a short path will lead you to steps that open into a stone semi circle platform. Around the semi circle platform lie rose bushes on top of freshly mown grass that is tended to by several gardeners. Around the front of the building is a thick iron fence with flowers around the outside which gives the building a very neat presentation to the public.

Inside When you enter the building through the double doors - which are open during the day with two guards outside - the floor is open and spacious aside from a high counter in middle of the room where 2 to 4 receptionists work. There are also chairs where clients can wait for assistance or for their personal lawyer to come and collect them. On either side of the building there is an elevator that will take you to each floor.

Each floor attends to different issues within the law whether it is to do with money, marriage, or criminal cases. However the fifth floor is for high priority cases whether they are for important clients or to do with criminal justice. Xavier Duke's main office also resides there which is the largest office within the building with its own reception area.

What purpose will this shop serve other than selling things and being the home of your character? Why would people want to RP there just for fun?

Located in London, Duke's House of Law offers services to both high profile clients and even those with a criminal status - depending on the crime of course. Due to these clients, he will obtain information and secrets that some would kill for.

As well as this, Duke's House of Law can offer several women secretary positions or even the position of a personal assistant. This could cause office romances within the business. Also, positions can be granted to school graduates and summer internships can be offered to current students of Hogwarts.
