Pets?

So, I was wondering if dogs are allowed as pets, instead of the usual cats, rats, toads, and owls? To be specific, a shih tzu puppy. Would that be allowed, or do I have to ask an administrator?

Hello!

That does require permission, and would be at the discretion of your future Head of House. Once you've been Sorted come September 1st, each House has its own system for approving requests like that, so I'd sit tight until then. Heads of House are usually quite reasonable.
