Biography: (300 words minimum.)

Mixed blood they called it. Maisie liked to think of it as diversity. Coming from two different parts of Europe blood in both family sides sure caused a lot of diversity. Her father, Campbell Juniper was the head of the Juniper household. With strong Scottish blood running in his veins, he brought the stubborn and very grounded traits into Maisie. That whole side of the family lived and breathed the Scottish highlands. The very highlands that Maisie loved to visit in the spring when she was a young lass. The other side of her family was a whole other offbeat. Her mother, Amélie Juniper was from France. If growing up with loud buffy Scottish men and women were enough, Maisie and her sister were brought up around the complete opposite, the dainty french of her mother's side.
Most of Maisie's childhood was between different two different lifestyles. Sure, her family were very wealthy due to their pureblood status but the high-class attitude was mainly from the french women on her mother's side. Dignity and grace was enforced upon Maisie and her sister. Stand up straight, cross your legs, never snort, and so the list goes on. Being the oldest by a year made the bond between Maisie and her sister indestructible. With how much they looked alike, there wouldn't be any notion that they were anything but the same. But, their personalities were two opposites on the spectrum. Maisie's sister, Camille was a breath of fresh air. Full of color, musically talented and always smiling. The one thing Maisie didn't often do. If anything, Maisie was always told by her grandmother that with the amount of frowning she did, wrinkles would show up earlier in life. Both girls went to attend Beauxbatons, per their mother's request. Camille was popular among her peers, commonly known by anyone and everyone. Maisie was more the wallflower, mostly focusing on school and reading in her spare time. Both girls graduated, Maisie being the top of her class. Now going their separate ways, Maisie decided she would pursue a career at St. Mungos. With her book smarts and constant curiosity, Maisie decided she should try working in the Medical Research department. Moving out of the mansion she once had called home, Maisie moved into a decent condo in London and is now looking forward to starting a new world of her own.

Option Two -
The snow had been falling steadily all morning and it didn't look like it was going to stop any time soon. Joshua Campbell scrunched his face up in a frown as he lifted his gaze to look to the sky. Snow. It really was quite a bother.

And it certainly didn't make it better that Diagon Alley seemed to be getting more and more crowded. Joshua sighed and pointed his wand at the large box that was currently placed on the doorstep of his shop. He had to get going. He had an order to deliver.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" The elderly man muttered and watched the box hover in the air for a moment. Honestly, did St. Mungo's really need that much tinsel? And with glitter of all things? He sighed again. If it hadn't been for the rather convincing stamp on the order, he would have been likely to believe it had been a prank by one of those orphaned rascals living up there.

Oh well, there was no point in waiting. Joshua deftly stirred the box down the doorstep and out onto the street, carefully levitating it above the heads of the crowd.

"Coming through! Coming through!" His voice sounded over the chatter of the crowd. "Keep out! Move ahead! Go on!" This was going way too slow. People were in the way and walking like they had all day! He huffed. Luckily the road was down hill.

"Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!" Joshua let out a loud shout as his feet suddenly slipped in the snow and sent him, the box, and several long strands of tinsel tumbling into the person who had been walking in front of him.

"For Merlin's sake!" Joshua muttered angrily as he hurried to his feet again, red and gold tinsel now decorating his black coat. "I am so sorry! This blasted snow!" He looked apologetic at the person he had crashed into.

Roleplay Response:

Oh the loathe that she had for winter.

It wasn't a thing to hide. To some people, Maisie loathed a lot of things. That wasn't a completely accurate statement...she still liked her black sphynx cat, Mihos. Not forgetting her love over dark roast, coconut and vanilla coffee.

At the thought of coffee, Maisie let herself sigh in content at the hot drink warming the palm of her left hand. Mornings that started escorted by coffee were her favorite mornings.

With the rate that people were moving in Diagon Alley, she could have slept in about twenty more minutes. What was the hold up?

"Coming through! Coming through!" The female rolled her eyes in annoyance, continuing to sip away at her coffee.

She already was a bit bugged that morning (even with her coffee injection). The barista clearly didn't know how to put a lid on correctly being that Maisie was given back her drink with a larger sized lid. Didn't seem to help since the correct lid was no where to be found. So instead, she decided to ditch a lid. It was a risk she was willing to take. No way in hell was she going to toss away a perfect mixture of heaven in liquid form.

Her other hand was carrying important paperwork. Her grandfather's will. It was all her things she would be receiving. Nothing too extravagant as most people thing they'll acquire when someone really really old dies in the family. No fancy diamond jewels or billions of money. Instead, Maisie was given a pocket watch.

Most people would think of a pocket watch as dumb but, it had significance for her. After all, her grandfather knew she was horrid with time and..out of her siblings she had the closest relationship with her grandfather.

"Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!" Suddenly, too much was happening at once.

Boxes started dropping, her paperwork flung, color assortment of tinsel raining through the air, body jolted and...her poor coffee. A large brown stain covered the snow right next to her, most of it on the ground but somehow splashed up onto her hand and white sleeve.

"For Merlin's sake! I am so sorry! This blasted snow!" If looks could kill, this old man would be feet under. She had to take a big deep breath to stop herself from shouting.

"It's quite alright" Maisie gritted out. Oh how she wanted to cry over her spoiled coffee.
