Biography: Renée McKay, formerly called Renée Kidd, graduated from the the Beauxbaton's Academy the top of her class. A beautiful witch with veela roots, she was considered extremely talented, and many people bet that she would soon end up working in the Ministry of Magic in a very powerful position. However, Renée would give up that future when she met her future husband, Connor McKay, a muggle university student working at the Blue Moon Bar in lower London. As most would put it, it was love at first sight, and even after Renée confided in Connor about her magical powers, the two married less than a year after meeting.

Three years later, two years after Connor would graduate with an engineering degree, the couple of two would become a family of three with the birth of their firstborn child, Adeline McKay in the town of Huntingdon, Cambridge, England on October 31st. Adeline would be born with her mother's beautiful blonde hair, but her father's blue-green eyes. Her name would soon be shortened to Addie by those who loved her, her nickname 'Giggles' given to her by her father because, as a baby, she would smile and giggle more often than not.

Addie and her family spent 5 years in Huntingdon before her father obtained a job in Dublin, Ireland, which is where Addie's triplet sisters would be born. Hannah, Allison, and Charlotte were all identical, and all looked like clones of Addie when she was born; very blonde, but with her mother's brown eyes instead of blue. It was at this point that Addie's mother, Renée, would become a permanent stay at home mother, wanting to take care of and love her children. Addie had a lovely and stable childhood, and was supported in all her endeavors. Around age seven, Addie showed her first sign of magic when she accidentally dropped a pot that was in her hands. Instead of it hitting the ground, it hovered there, only to slowly drop to the floor when Addie began to slowly stop holding her breath. Connor and Renée couldn't have been happier, and bought their daughter Puzzles, Addie's pet bat.

Addie moved back to Huntingdon 4 years later, and two years after, she would receive both a letter to both Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as well as the Beauxbaton's Academy. Addie's mother told her that it wouldn't matter, and after a few days hesitation, Addie chose Hogwarts. On September 1st, she found herself sitting on the Hogwarts Express, Puzzles in his carrier on her lap.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Please include these sections if they are not addressed in your biography.

Personality:
Addie's father Connor would describe Addie's personality as a rainbow; she has different colors, each as beautiful as the one before. Addie can go from sad to happy, serious to joking, all in a few minutes. Some people would find her spontaneous personality a bit alarming, but most find her energy refreshing. Addie also connects to people easy; because of her large range of emotions, she can be excited for people when they're happy or feel their pain when they're sad. Nothing is outside her understanding, and nothing is ever embarrassing.

Addie has a fairly large imagination and tends to bury herself in her fantasy books, such as Beetle of the Bard. However, she does have the ability to pull herself from her books and get her schoolwork done. Addie tends to think outside the box, and also says whatever comes to mind, which causes her to come up with unorthodox yet useful solutions.

Addie like golden retrievers, bats, sunny days, anything bright colored, braids and hot chocolate. She is also very proficient at piano, and likes to name off random facts. Addie does not like thunderstorms, tea, abrasive people, small dogs, spiders, and guesswork.

Appearance: Adeline's grandmother, Anastasia, is full Veela, and Adeline inherited most of her looks, with long blonde hair, a clear complexion, white teeth, pouty lips and a certain silver aura that extends around her. The only things she inherited from her father was his green-blue eyes and his dimple on her right cheek. Adeline is 5'6, slightly above average height for girls her age, due to her father's abnormally tall side of the family. She has long, graceful fingers, small toes, and small hips. Adeline walks with a certain grace that seems to extend to all of her, with a small amount of determination. Overall, Adeline is considered quite a pretty girl with an interesting personality.

SAMPLE ROLEPLAY
You come across one of these three posts on the site. Please reply to one only as your character would.

Option I:

Blimey, the Great Hall was packed. It seemed like everywhere a guy looked there was some clown waving around a House banner or yelling about the game.

'Can you believe it?' 'No way!' 'This must be the biggest upset in Hogwarts Quidditch history...'

Stupid Quidditch.

James flopped into an empty seat at the end of the table, shoved an empty plate out of the way, and let his head sink onto his crossed arms, squishing his freckled nose down flat against the table top. He wasn't sure why he'd even bothered to come here, since he definitely wasn't hungry. He'd probably never eat again, in fact. He didn't deserve to eat. He hadn't stopped in the locker room to change out of his muddy, sweaty uniform after the game either, because he was pretty sure he probably didn't deserve to be clean too; and anyway he couldn't stand to see the looks on his team mates' faces after he blew their chance at winning one of the biggest games they had ever played.

Just one lousy shot. That's all it would have taken. If he could have just got that one stupid foul shot to go through that one stupid hoop, they could have won and he wouldn't have been the biggest blockhead in the entire school.

As if to prove the point, half the people at the next table suddenly broke into a loud victory chant. James pressed his face further into his arms to hide the bright red blotches he could feel creeping up his cheeks. That was it. He was just going to have to run away and move to Nova Scotia. He'd just cost the three-year-in-a-row Champions the Quidditch Cup! How do you ever live that one down for crying out loud? He was only a second year and he was going to spend the rest of his life as 'that dumb cry-baby kid who dropped the Quaffle!'

It felt like every set of eyes in the room was boring into him, and James couldn't stand it anymore. He jerked himself back up from the table and stomped right back out of the Hall the same way he had come in. As he stormed into the quieter hallway outside, he could hear footsteps somewhere behind him. James rounded on the sound and began to shout, his brown eyes shining with tears. "WHAT! Haven't you ever seen a loser before? Why don't you just take a picture!"

Sample Roleplay Response:

Adeline had been staring around the breakfast hall, waiting for her pet bat Puzzles to come bring her the mail. She was expecting letters from her family, mostly her three triplets sisters. They wrote her every week, detailing their life from the girls who picked on them to the boys they like, how school was going on what they had for lunch, what one sister did and the opposite story from the other. It was quite entertaining and she missed her sisters often. They would be joining her in the next few years and she was sure that she wouldn't miss them that much when they were here, mostly they would drive her crazy. But for now, she continued to look up at the ceiling, until Puzzles showed up with a large package of letters. After feeding him a bit of fruit, Adeline took off to her common room to put the letters in a safe place. She would read them later on, after classes, in the safety of her room.

Rushing down the hall, a boy appeared in front of her. When he heard her footprints, he turned around and started to yell at her. Shocked, the blonde girl stopped and seemed frozen in her spot as his rant continued. In response, she dropped the package containing her letters from her. Even though Addie was befuddled, she managed to hear something about him being a loser, and realized it was James, the boy who lost his team the Quidditch cup.

"You're not a loser!" Addie finally managed to get out, bending over to pick up the package she had dropped. "So what if you lost the cup? Doesn't make you a loser, it makes you human." She flashed an encouraging smile at James and approached him. "People make mistakes all the time. Here in a week, someone else will do something and they'll all talk about him. That's the amazing thing about people. They forget." The blonde girl patted James arm and continued down the hall. "Sorry! I have to drop these letters off before class, but I'll see you later!" Addie waved goodbye before turning the corner.
