Biography: Born to a rich, muggle family Beatrice had a very happy childhood, that was until everything went wrong. Beatrice’s parents were both killed, in an incident that traumatised Bea, and completely changed her personality. She lost both her parents, and her older brother, all at the same time.

Beatrice used to be a happy, chatty child who loved games; after the deaths of her family, she became closed off and refused to talk to new people. Beatrice refuses to live in any other home other than her parents house. She constantly tries to escape from the orphanages she’s stuck into, keeping on trying to head back to her home. She usually doesn’t get far, often sleeping under a doorstop.

Bea, however, has beautiful clothes from her old wardrobe, and she carries her clothes in one suitcase, and her other items in another. She also often dresses like she’s out of the book Madeline, with a boater hat that has a large bow at the back of it. She’s been moved to Hogsmeade Children’s Home so that she’s far away from her old home, so that (hopefully) she wont try to run away.

She spends her spare time reading her books, in a quiet corner, as she avoids other people- as they ask too many questions. Beatrice is usually called weird for her reactions around other people, as she doesn’t really get along with them and likes to avoid them, as she doesn’t like to talk to them.

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:
Beatrice didn’t enjoy games. Games were for people who had a small number of brain cells, people who didn’t enjoy reading, or the finer things in life.

Broomsticks were a stupid idea, they were made for people like maids who used them to clean. Kids playing on broomsticks that had been enchanted to fly? With the death risk, it was a stupid idea, the worlds stupidest idea. How was this a multimillion industry? It made no sense, but was a good way to make a profit, she’d have to remember that, to write it down and pass it on.

“You! …Do you want to play?”

Beatrice Grace Caulfield had never been talked to in such a rude manner before, in her life. This was outrageous! And to think that she would be stupid enough to want to play the game, she just couldn’t believe the sheer ridiculousness of this situation.

“No, I do not wish to play your idiotic game. And you should be more polite, what you said was rather rude, you know.” Responded Bea, looking angrily at the girl.
