Biography:
Elise Arundell, Eldest sibling of 4, was born on her mother's birthday and almost took the woman's life while doing so. Pregnancy had already been hard for the young lady, but compared to labour it was absolutely nothing. It scarred the woman for life, or so she told Elise, who never really understood why, after being pretty much traumatized, her mother would decide to bring 3 more children onto this world. Apparently, it was worth it.

It was worth it?

Elise could remember the countless days of constant screaming and running after her siblings as they played yet another silly game, most of which would wind up ending in a fight between the 3 brothers and sister. "Though those little things are annoying, a smile or hug from you or your little brothers makes me forget every little thing" That's what her mother would say, which didn't make the girl any wiser. All it taught her was that, no matter what, she would be forgiven, but that would end up not being exactly true.

Elise's first few years were lovely for the young girl, but not that enjoyable for those around her. Little Elise was a cry-baby, and would start weeping if she'd be left alone. Her parents had predicted her to be a shy, frail child, but that would end up being her eldest brother. Elise, on the other hand, would toughen up as she grew older.

Born into a wealthy family, Elise and her brothers were also thought to be insanely spoiled, but that wasn’t the case. Her parents, her father in particular, found it very important to teach their children that they had to work for what they wanted, so Elise grew up doing a lot of chores for her pocket money. Though she wasn’t a huge fan of doing chores, it did make her a hard worker.

Growing up she never really had to face so many problems. She did good in school, had a great social life, and lived a luxurious life. What else would someone want? Well, just one thing.

Acceptance

Elise would be willing to give up her luxury and praised good grades for it in a heartbeat, but sadly she can't. No she isn't gay, she has two stubborn parents who are forcing her to do two things. 1: work for the family's company and eventually take it over. 2: Get married to a rich and/or influential guy chosen by her parents. Let's start with explaining the first and most sensitive part; not wanting to take over the family business.

Arundell is not only Elise's last name, but also the name of a very successful fashion brand brought to life by Elise's grandfather, who would eventually put her parents at the top once he retired. What started out as a small business solely focusing on making unique suits and dresses with ridiculous prices, would eventually take a step down and massively produce relatively cheap but good looking formal wear, which ended up being surprisingly popular. Taking over the business would basically be a free pass to a life of mass luxury, but Elise didn't need or want it. She had absolutely no passion for fashion, nor even the slightest interest in working with clothes. But her parents were eager to put her on the top. Why? She had absolutely no clue, but she didn't seem to have a choice. Being courageous enough to talk back only made the situation worse, as she would get punished every time she'd claim to not be interested in taking over the business. She'd be locked up after her mother would scream at her, or her father would talk to her.

"stop lying. Stop being so rude. Stop insulting us. Stop trying to become something you'll never be. Stop pushing us away. Stop being so cold towards your father. Stop embarrassing us you crazy child!" This is merely an example of what her mother would say.

Hearing these things over and over, coming from a loving mother's mouth, is painful to even the strongest people. Luckily, Elise has been able to keep her head cool. To not break by the hatred coming towards her. She won't give in.

Compared to the first little problem, the second isn't too bad, but it's still severely annoying. Not being allowed to love without permission is just simply disgusting, but apparently normal within the Arundell bloodline. It's some sort of tradition to marry the girls to some rich businessman's son, just to gain some contacts and influence, but apparently that's worth more than the hapiness of one's own daughter. [Ii]"That's just how it works, dear. You'll learn to love the guy you'll marry eventually. Just don't worry"[/i] is what her foolish but sweet grandmother repeatedly told her, annoying the girl so much more. No way was she going to just let herself be given to some rich egg. She simply wouldn't let it happen.

Apart from these slight struggles, Elise's parents treated her very well. As long as the two problems wouldn't be brought up, everything would be fine, and everyone would be happy. However, it has gotten harder for Elise to act like everything's fine whilst knowing her parents will react viciously to her decisions, especially now that she's getting closer to the age she'll have to start working at he company and will get married to some idiotic pig of a rich guy. She luckily still has a couple years to prepare, and is doing so by trying to have some lovely last years at hogwarts.

→ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
House Request:
Gryffindor, but a different house is completely fine too.

Personality:
Caring, (Overly)Protective, Confident, Pushy, Stubborn

Appearance:
Healthy weight, roughly 5’6” (167 cm), and a slightly pale skin. Elise has long flowing blonde hair that is often just let loose. She has some sharp facial features that accompany her most loved feature; her blue eyes. Elise takes good care of herself, and always makes sure to look good and not smell like a horse when she’s out in public. When not forced to wear her school uniform, Elise is forced to wear clothes of which her parents approve, which she finds severely annoying.

Option 2.

It wasn't a common occasion for Elise to sit beside the gardens, just staring at the flowers. In fact, this was the first time this particular scenario took place. Elise had gotten a letter from home just a few minutes ago, which had frustrated her so badly that she had run outside and just threw herself down beside the flowers, tearing up the letter and pictures that had been sent along it. The letter was about a lovely subject; love. For most people it's a natural thing to fall in love, but Elise doesn't exactly have that luxury. Her crush and future husband would be decided by her parents, and completely based on money and influence. This particular letter had been obviously written by her father, as the writing seemed to be done by a 5 year old,  who according to the letter found himself very kind to send her the pictures of 3 candidates that could become her future husband. Elise hadn't even looked at the pictures longer than a second before a rush of anger took over. She wasn't going to let her father decide.

No. Way.

As the blonde girl was busy tearing up the last picture, trying to calm herself whilst doing so, a simple guy managed to completely turn her attention to something else. This particular guy, roughly her own age, was currently stomping through a row of flowers, brutally murdering the poor things as he kept moving forward. Confused and slightly annoyed, Elise got up and just tracked the male with her eyes as he proceeded to trample forward. She wasn't exactly sure what the guy was doing, but she wanted to have nothing to do with it really. Elise had more important things to do, like writing an angry letter to her father and probably punching a wall once or twice. The moment she was about to walk away, however, the boy let out a very, very unique sneeze that owned its own level of disgust. Never had she ever heard a sneeze that loud before. "He must be having a bad day." Elise thought, looking at the boy with a confused and slightly disgusted look. Seeing someone wipe their nose on their robes wasn't much of a nice view, especially not in this situation.

A few seconds after the menacing sneeze, Elise got caught staring at the poor boy, who would eventually ask her if he could help her with something, adding a quick lesson in politeness at the end. Obviously she knew that staring wasn't polite, but in this particular situation it wasn't very surprising for the boy to be stared at.

"My apologies for staring, but that sneeze just really caught my attention." Elise replied, chuckling slightly. "So.. What exactly are you doing, if you don't mind me asking?" unease could clearly be heard in Elise's voice as she spoke, since she was definitely not comfortable in this situation whatsoever. Not only was she stuck with this odd guy, she would perhaps also be at risk of getting blamed for what happened if this guy also happened to be a jerk. She just wanted to get out of this weird situation as soon as she could.
