Biography: (100 words minimum.)
The Alvarez family had always been a wealthy and well-known family in the wizarding community. This was no secret to Arwynn, who, from a young age, realized that while money could not buy you happiness it could certainly grant you power and that could sometimes be close to the same thing.

Raised by her nanny, Arwynn’s parents were never very attentive to her. But her every wish was granted, none the less. She was granted expensive clothing to attend prestigious parties filled with the pureblooded elite. No expense was spared when it came to her education. The young pureblood was treated like royalty and thought nothing of it. It was just how life was for her.

Her family’s name went from well known to downright infamous when her father was, after a lengthy and expensive trial, carted off to Azkaban for attempting to eradicate muggleborns. Did she miss him? ‘Miss’ was a strong word. It wasn’t as if she saw much of him anyway. But it did make her a bit uneasy.

If her own father could get tossed away for attempting to rid the world of dirty blooded rats, what else could the ‘justice system’ get away with?

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

The park was crowded. Expected, on a day as nice as it was. But the sunlight couldn’t make the giggling and shouting any less irksome. Arwynn wrinkled her nose up as she leaned back on her elbows and soaked in the sun. She’d deal with the noise for now. Mother had a meeting shortly and then Arwynn would have the house all to herself. Then she’d be free to relax in the hushed solitude that was the-

“You!”

-quiet.

A dark brow quirked upward as she glanced at the tiny girl positively screaming at her. Someone really ought to design a muzzle for uncontrollable small children like that one. Maybe then the park would be a bit more bearable.

“…Do you want to play?”

A short, cold laugh passed through her lips as she eyed the girl up and down before leaned back a bit more, “Not on your life, princess,” she nodded to a canteen at the edge of the blanket she was sprawled on, “Hand me that, will you?” her eyes closed against the bright heat of the sun, “I’m parched.”

If the little girl was going to interrupt her, she might as well be of some use.
