Biography: (100 words minimum.)

The streets had been Rose's home ever since she could remember. There had been times, of course, where they had tried to imprison the ginger girl at one of those places for kids like her. Orphanages. As well those people who thought they could keep her inside their houses, order her around and this kind of thing.  However, Rose never stayed for too long with any of them. Sometimes she runned off, sometimes they chased her out - in the end, she would always be back at the streets.

And she prefers like that, anyway. Rose wasn't like one of those fancy kids, who couldn't do nothing by themselves, always crying for their mamas. The eight years old girl was much like a stray cat, knowing her way around suspicious alleys and shady shops. She knew where to beg for some knuts and where to find shelter for the harder nights, how to pickpocket some purses and how to fight the brats who were older than her. She could take care of herself.

She doesn't know anything about where she came from - because everybody came from somewhere, right? - and the only clue she has about it is a older silver medallion that is with her since...Well, ever. Rose has to hide it or someone would surely rob her from it, but at night - when she's all alone in her corner - she can hold it tight between her hands.

Roleplay:
Reply as your character to the following:

Godric Park.

Overhead, the sky was a crisp blue, for once clear of the ever-pervasive spongy clouds and rain. The sun was a lemony-yellow presence, high in the Eastern sky, and in front of it zipped three broomsticks in a straight line, or something very like one. One... two..... three... the boys passed, their shouts of excitement echoing as they chased the snitch, a tiny shimmer reflecting the sunlight.

Far below was another, much smaller broomstick.

It trugged along the ground, hugging close to it like a sluggish choo choo train and occasionally shuttering in protest. This was because said stick was currently being occupied by a very small girl who was tugging upward on the front of it with all her might, trying to coax it into doing what it had been expressly designed NOT to do.

"John, I said wait up!" The tiny girl squealed, giving the broomstick another tug.

Begrudgingly, it drifted upward a foot, and then sank, depositing the troublesome girl safely on the ground. Janey Hurst was not pleased. In a huff, she hopped off the toy safety broom, grabbing it firmly and thrusting it handle first into the turf.

Her brother was such a beast. He NEVER let her play! She folded her arms, seething blue eyes fixing on another figure nearby.  "You!" She barked, much more sharply than she meant to.

"...Do you want to play?"

Roleplay Response:

Rose was visiting Godric's Park - no, Hogsmeade - for the first time. Some of those homes for children like her had put the red haired girl in their custody again, and she was feeling too lazy to run away (- for now). She couldn't regret staying longer than she usually would if that is the kind of thing that happens. They had bathed ( - what hadn't been much fun, really) and dressed her in new second-hand clothes ( - much better than her older ones), then she and the other kids were bring here and it was, it was...

It was beautiful.

Rose was lost as a baby cat, looking at her surroundings like she had never seen something like it - because she hasn't. She was used to the gloomy, grimy corner of Knockturn, or the ever crowded streets of Diagon Alley and even to the old abandoned factories at London. But this was something different.

"You!"

The ginger head raised her defenses quickly. Rose may not know the place, but she would not accept to take a beaten. "What?!" She barked at the other girl.

"...Do you want to play?"

Her eyes got almost bigger plates, surprise wrtitten all over her freckled face. "Wait. Me?" Rose asked, pointing her thumb to her own chest.
