Biography: (300 words minimum.)
Dantalion was a child born from regret and passion, almost like Romeo and Juliet his parents came from families that hated one another and though they did not love each other they found they held a chemistry that rivaled no other. A night of passion behind closed doors resulted in a pureblood child that was never meant to exist.
His mother never planned to keep him, but felt that her small affair deserved to live on in one form or another, so she hid. She hid in the shadows and made lies and excuses for her absences when she became far too noticeable during her pregnancy.

When Dantalion was finally born he was given one day with his mother before she returned to her duties. He was then cared for until he could walk and talk before he was taken and left in some place he knew no way of returning home from. He’d stayed there for days until he was chased away by people he did not trust. His birth place was not kind to him, he knew himself to be a nuisance and a burden but he did not know the difference of a loving home and one that wanted him gone.

From an early age he learnt to steal and con others to get by, he learnt the world was unsafe and that many people did not like little street urchins even when he offered to work for his food. So he kept moving, from one place to another as he grew, sneaking onto trains and sleeping in nooks and crannies in a large oversized black jumper he had found in the trash one day.

The more he grew, the more he came cautious of people but he was no longer skittish of them as he had been as a child. Instead he watched them quietly, studied them and if he spoke it was often sharp, teasing and in most cases a little hurtful, his behaviour however tends to be very unpredictable in most cases.

At the age of 18, he only knew that he was 18 from the years he counted, each winter he survived was a new year. He did not recall his birthday, had never been told it. He did not know he was pureblood either, he knew nothing of his origins other than that he lived with strangers that left him with untapped potential in magic that still behaved childishly when he became upset.

In his early teens he found himself in the wizarding world of england, had found himself wandering the streets of Diagon Alley because he knew that england may be the only safe place left from the world that clashed in the muggle world. He thought maybe it would be safe here and that he would hopefully build a life for himself but he doubted it, he enjoyed living his life on the streets, like the strays that roamed the world.

Option Two -
The snow had been falling steadily all morning and it didn't look like it was going to stop any time soon. Joshua Campbell scrunched his face up in a frown as he lifted his gaze to look to the sky. Snow. It really was quite a bother.

And it certainly didn't make it better that Diagon Alley seemed to be getting more and more crowded. Joshua sighed and pointed his wand at the large box that was currently placed on the doorstep of his shop. He had to get going. He had an order to deliver.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" The elderly man muttered and watched the box hover in the air for a moment. Honestly, did St. Mungo's really need that much tinsel? And with glitter of all things? He sighed again. If it hadn't been for the rather convincing stamp on the order, he would have been likely to believe it had been a prank by one of those orphaned rascals living up there.

Oh well, there was no point in waiting. Joshua deftly stirred the box down the doorstep and out onto the street, carefully levitating it above the heads of the crowd.

"Coming through! Coming through!" His voice sounded over the chatter of the crowd. "Keep out! Move ahead! Go on!" This was going way too slow. People were in the way and walking like they had all day! He huffed. Luckily the road was down hill.

"Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!" Joshua let out a loud shout as his feet suddenly slipped in the snow and sent him, the box, and several long strands of tinsel tumbling into the person who had been walking in front of him.

"For Merlin's sake!" Joshua muttered angrily as he hurried to his feet again, red and gold tinsel now decorating his black coat. "I am so sorry! This blasted snow!" He looked apologetic at the person he had crashed into.

Roleplay Response:
He still didn’t quite understand why but he loved the snow, he loved walking in it than laying in it. It hurt sometimes to lay in the snow but people seemed to change when the white snowflakes fell from the sky.

With literally no care in the world on where he was going Dantalion had been paying far too much attention to the sky above him, giddy with the cold weather that could in all terms and purposes claim his life if he wasn't careful. He hadn’t noticed the man slip until suddenly he was covered in tinsel and glitter with a man apologizing.

He didn’t say anything for a moment, almost calculating on what to do before he started to laugh, his laugh genuine and sincere as he plucked tinsel from his clothing and brushed off glitter.

“It’s alright, I think I like the improvement to my clothing,” he joked as he gathered all the tinsel and stood there, hair jet black that covered one eye at certain angles, old jumper still on his body with a few frays here and there. He probably looked poor but he didn’t care, he was poor.

“Need any help taking these to wherever you were going?I don’t have anything planned for the day.”

It was true and really he needed something to do before he tried to find a spot to sleep, he had an idea where though. A shop with dancing phoenixes looked safe enough to hunker down for awhile.
