Prologue

At mid-evening on a frost-bitten winter day, a baby boy was born into the esteemed pureblooded Woodward family, to Lady Brycelynn Woodward and Wade Woodward, an Auror of the Ministry of Magic and a St. Mungo's Healer in Spell Damage. Jeremiah was their second son and the youngest, their eldest being their son Jp, who was only a year older than Jeremiah. Jeremiah would be their last as Brycelynn couldn't bear any more children. Although his full name was Jeremiah, over time he became more and more known as Jeremy, especially when the boy- who became an amazing soccer player, loving the thrill of making a goal- joined the Manchester United soccer team as a Forward at the age of fifteen years old.

Although his teammates are all specifically muggles, he has no problem interacting with them although it has proven to be difficult not to blurt out something that would give away his identity as a wizard. But he is a respected and valued Forward and his loyalty to his teammates is unending. Whatever the obstacles they cross, they leap over them together, as a team, as a pack, and as a whole, with Jeremiah in the lead. Nothing could stop them.

July, 1948
fifteen years old

"Woodward, over here!" The boy's deep blue eyes flickered over to his teammate who had called his name, still running the soccer ball up the field, the opposing team at his heels. But he gave a slight shake of his head, a simple 'no.' It was obvious as to why he wouldn't pass him the ball- his teammate was surrounded by those on the opposing team. Jeremiah's legs flew into action, gaining speed as he neared the goal, and then with one powerful kick, sent the soccer boll flying into the goal before the central defender could even know what was coming for him. His teammates erupted into cheers and shouts- they had won the game 15-13.

"Woodward! Woodward!" They screeched, pelting toward him at full speed to clap him on the back and give him high-fives. Laughing, Jeremiah put his hand on top of the pile, and they all screeched as one. "Manchester United!"

Over time, they would be known as world soccer champions, thanks to their ability to work as a team and the unity that kept them together as a whole.

Option Two -
The snow had been falling steadily all morning and it didn't look like it was going to stop any time soon. Joshua Campbell scrunched his face up in a frown as he lifted his gaze to look to the sky. Snow. It really was quite a bother.

And it certainly didn't make it better that Diagon Alley seemed to be getting more and more crowded. Joshua sighed and pointed his wand at the large box that was currently placed on the doorstep of his shop. He had to get going. He had an order to deliver.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" The elderly man muttered and watched the box hover in the air for a moment. Honestly, did St. Mungo's really need that much tinsel? And with glitter of all things? He sighed again. If it hadn't been for the rather convincing stamp on the order, he would have been likely to believe it had been a prank by one of those orphaned rascals living up there.

Oh well, there was no point in waiting. Joshua deftly stirred the box down the doorstep and out onto the street, carefully levitating it above the heads of the crowd.

"Coming through! Coming through!" His voice sounded over the chatter of the crowd. "Keep out! Move ahead! Go on!" This was going way too slow. People were in the way and walking like they had all day! He huffed. Luckily the road was down hill.

"Coming through! Coming th--- arrrgh!" Joshua let out a loud shout as his feet suddenly slipped in the snow and sent him, the box, and several long strands of tinsel tumbling into the person who had been walking in front of him.

"For Merlin's sake!" Joshua muttered angrily as he hurried to his feet again, red and gold tinsel now decorating his black coat. "I am so sorry! This blasted snow!" He looked apologetic at the person he had crashed into.

Roleplay Response:
The lanky, tall soccer player walked through the bustling Diagon Alley, his lip curled distastefully at the snow littering the ground. Manchester barely got any snow, and when it was winter, there was actually no snow that littered the ground, just a frosty chill in the air. Actual snow, Jeremiah had no patience or love for. All he had to say about it was that it is disgusting.

A yelp of surprise escaped past the Manchester United soccer team's Forward when something slammed  uncomfortably into the boy's shoulder, only jolting him as tinsel showered around him. He winced, but offered a small smile to the man that had run into him. It's fine, really. It happens all the time. I'm Jeremiah Woodward, by the way. What's your name?"
